    Well, all I know is what he wrote I mean... 10 years without sex!! Barring any serious health problems... I guess I was assuming it was the female that held out. I will admit I could be wrong but, in my experience, females have always controlled the sexual experience. Actually.....otherwise a man could be accused of rape. I'm just offering my opinion that's all and I accept your opinion as well. The truth is always somewhere in between in most cases.

    Conservative and liberal men have the same problems sometimes. I don't agree with his politics but I do understand his dilemma as presented.

    Well, we don't know, and we don't know if any of these outrageous tales are even true. I am very skeptical, TBH. I've met a whole lot of fruits and nuts on the internetz. :D

    Sure, but I was saying that maybe she didn't want to have sex with him because HE sucked in the sack (and not in a good way). Maybe he's just not a very good lover. Obviously she had some issues with him, if the stories he runs around the forum telling are true.

    I mean, seriously, according to him, she was just an evil beotch. There is NO trying to understand what her issues might have been, and he never talks about that. He makes it sound as if he was this wonderful perfect husband and she was withholding sex just to be mean to him. I suppose he's just a terrible judge of character and married an evil woman who wanted to marry him just to make his life hell and to make him on the verge of committing suicide . . . or something else. ;)

    Believe it or not, most women also enjoy sex, so I'm thinking there was probably a reason why she didn't want to have sexual intimacy with this person.

    My point exactly, what's the use of living your life all over again with no memories of the past life? Ergo...you are NOT 'living your life all over again' if you know what went before....

    Sure I would live it over again if I could, though it would be kind of hard not to do things differently so you really don't know if you decide to do something different, if it would cost you or someone else their life in an accident or something.

    Well, if this is how you behaved (like a victim of some sort) during your marriage, it's no wonder. She was probably totally turned off to you, and she can't help that. If you are no longer sexually attracted to someone, then you can't force yourself to be attracted to that person. Obviously there were problems in your marriage that you weren't paying attention to, or she didn't want to hurt your feelings or whatever the case may be. I'm sure she wasn't just an evil person that you seem to enjoy making her out to be, while you make yourself out to be a victim. It takes two to make a marriage and two to destroy one.

    Yes, but I am saying that there is a reason why she would do that OR she just wasn't attracted to him anymore, and you can't force attraction. I guess you can pretend and go through the motions.

    Agree. That would be ideal, but I was a lot smarter and more responsible and mature in my late 20s than I was in my teens or early 20s. I was such a stupid idiot when I was a youngin! :laughing:

    Fantasy and pretending is part of sex as long as both parties are fulfilled and no one gets hurt. A relationship fuels that fulfillment. Each party understanding what 'turns on' the other and NOT holding out for some kind of power position or monetary gain. Basically it's called LOVE. Holding sex as a bargaining point is not LOVE.
