This sounds like what the democrats used to sound like, unlike these faux democrats of today. CNN panelists Dana Bash, and Phillip Mudd appearing on AC 360, Wolf in for AC, are defending Kushners wish to establish a secure means of communications outside the bureaucracy. Trump distrusted the Obama admin. and suspected he was being surveilled. Kushner was to be given a big role in foreign relations, so the suggestion was unorthodox, but not improper, or demonstrably nefarious. That said, the fact that CNN has dramatically departed from it's usually 100% negative narrative 100% of the time, seems significant. Yesterday they dropped the Comey bombshell. I think they're beging to accept that they probably backed the wrong horse ... again.

 

So far it's only Comey who's been shown to have received written communications from the Russian election meddlers. We have the Lynch memo, and Steeles dossier as evidence of Comeys unwitting recruitment. Unwitting is perhaps a generous term, as we know Comey was aware his evidence was contrived and provided by Russian spies.

 

There's something I don't understand about Kushner's request for a back channel with Russia. The request came in December after Trump had already been made president elect. If Trump was working with the Russians then why didn't they already have a secret back channel?
