Especially with McConnell and Boehner obstructing everything that the DEM's tried to get done. Cruz did almost shut down the government though, same as Reagan once had. That makes Cruz a bigger threat than BHO or anybody else was.

I completely agree. And @APACHERAT is my favorite poster as well. I don't always agree with him but I cherish his insights and memories of Viet Nam, and his knowledge about guns and ammo.

You have seen even fewer real Liberals posting here, far less than real conservatives. Don't let the quantity of spam intimidate you, since 99% of it from the wingnuts on either 'side' is all essentially the same inane daily 'talking points' issued by their respective Hives like clockwork, so reading one you've read them all, and their spins are just as repetitive. If you want to find out what fake news the bots will be posting ahead of time, just visit their respective Hives first, then come around here or any other message board later and see the stories and spin show up here soon after. Not really...I refer to a mindset more that any individual contributor to it. There was a time that conservative indicated someone who protected our constitution, our economic stability, citizen freedoms and government by the people. This has changed and much of it shifted to entities far removed from todays Republican party and base. In my opinion this began with Bush Jr. and was inflated by the Tea Party eventually leading to what we see today, which has almost nothing in common with what we were during the Reagan time frame.
