For most of human history the safety net has been *private* charity, not government redistribution of wealth at the end of a gun.

Who owns the Common's by the way? The government? Or an individual? If it is an individual then how is it a Commons?

If it is the government then the government *does* own the means of production, at least part of it!

Hey, no worries. That's generally seized by employers before workers ever see a dime. In fact, the IRS usually already knows more about what you owe than you do when you go to do your taxes. First off, there ARE people who live totally off the grid! It isn't impossible to do.

Second, there *are* fire depts that are totally subscription only. They won't come if you don't subscribe. This isn't an entitlement, it is a purchased service!

Between Topeka and Kansas City is a toll road that is payef for by tolls, i.e. the users fund it. That is infrastructure that is *not* paid for by society.

Nor is health insurance provided by government - yet at least!
