Of course you don't, they aren't helping you. They are standing up for a lot of us and actually putting skin in the game.
Those people with the faces covered dressed in black do not look desperate or in pain. They look intense of creating destruction, chaos, and instilling fear. Try to understand what happens to the business owners and property owners who have to pick up the pieces and find a way to go on after their property has been destroyed by the POS. This is not about "understanding someone's pain". This is about a group of POS anarchy who clearly have nothing better to do but to destroy. The money that is funding these groups would be better served somewhere else. If you cannot understand that, go sit in the corner with your Dunce cap.
So weird listening to it yesterday on my drive to San Diego. The protesters are actually supporting more of what Trump is talking about than anything else, do they know that?
There are 100,000 protesters at G20. Are all of them violent anarchists? No. If you're familiar with American history, our founding fathers were called terrorists by the English monarchy. We rebelled with violence. I wouldn't participate, but I understand why there is violence. It's also amazing you can't have a discussion without hurling insults, typical ignorance.
What passes for the left these days has been reduced to profound ignorance by their own chosen Fake News sources. Most of them are totally detached from reality. “The Trump era has given rise to a vast alternative left-wing media infrastructure that operates largely out of the view of casual news consumers, but commands a massive audience and growing influence in liberal America. There are polemical podcasters and partisan click farms; wild-eyed conspiracists and cynical fabulists. Some traffic heavily in rumor and wage campaigns of misinformation; others are merely aggregators and commentators who have carved out a corner of the web for themselves. But taken together, they form a media universe where partisan hysteria is too easily stoked, and fake news can travel at the speed of light.” THE ATLANTIC, How the Left Lost Its Mind, Polemicists, conspiracists, and outright fabulists are feeding an alternative media landscape—where the implausibility of a claim is no bar to its acceptance. Because Democrats are corrupted, and capitalists just like the Republicans are. They try and put a friendly face on.
If you want to tell people to "step aside" then be prepared to receive pushback. To think otherwise, is the definition of ignorance. There is clearly more than 1 POS in this, so I could not care less how many. This is a G20 summit, not a war for independence. You may not have the cajones to participate, but you sure would be clapping and cheering and giving these POS a thumbs up. May want to change thy name to Nordic Anarchist.
Yeah, this I agree with. Socially I have a lot of areas where I agree with Democrats .... quite a few areas actually. However the way with which Democrats are "attacking" is fruitless and actually does nothing but harm to the country. Plenty of Democratic ideals are great, even the hyper partisan things they push for often bring a great addition to the country (Unions do mostly negative things no days IMO, but I think have created an atmosphere where business owners "want" to be more fair: as an example) Anyways, the hyper partisan nonsense that we have now days id being perpetrated far more by the left. So much that it is tough to be an Independent anymore, it is just getting more and more out of control
I tell those standing in the way of change to step aside. G20 literally means the Global 20, the most powerful economies on earth. Do you not understand the amount of global pain and suffering these countries have caused? If we don't stop rampant capitalism from destroying the world, you think people will get LESS violent? I want the violence to stop on all sides, but it won't if people are crushed, ignored, and ridiculed by the elite. This has been going on for 50 years, society is breaking.
The problem is always the state, and its political ruling class. Capitalism is not the problem - the serious Left used to know that. Protests against globalism are entirely justified. Violent riots designed to suppress political opposition are always criminal.
Say what? During the last 10 years I've been laid off twice, once after being in management for a company for over 15 years. Because of those layoffs I lost a $650,000 home in California and I didn't burn down my neighbor's home because of it. As I got back on my feet, without government assistance mind you, I get kicked in the groin by insanely high health insurance costs and out of pocket expenses thanks to Obamacare, so don't whine to me about the cost of student loans. Capitalism works for the entire population, not half. The problem is the half you say it doesn't work for are content with being life long moochers with their Welfare payments and food stamps. I don't recall seeing videos of people rioting or making threats when the lose their jobs, but I have seen videos of people threatened lots of bad stuff if their Welfare is cut off. And don't forget, capitalism got us Mercedes Benz, socialism got us the Volkswagon. Without capitalism you wouldn't be on this board because personal computers probably wouldn't exist yet.
"Globalphobia" can be justified. Organized well funded riots against globalism are clearly designed to promote globalism.
Telling people to step aside if they object to POS anarchy groups destroying their businesses and property is lunacy. Funny how you condone pain and suffering caused by these POS anarchy groups in order to justify the "pain and suffering these countries have caused". Capitalism is not the problem. Fascism is.
The problem is the collusion of the state with the economic elites. Capitalism combined with Statism is where we are now. Again, check out my anti capitalism thread to understand what I mean when I say capitalism.
I tell people to step aside when they will not, or cannot, understand what modern capitalism has become. Please read my anti capitalism thread and we can continue the discussion.
Correct. Those rioters have little in common with Trump, but he is far more closely aligned with their antiglobalist concerns than any other leader at that conference.
Without the circulation free money there is no capitalism. We have a sinister form of corporatism where the cost and availability of currency is controlled be central planners, to the extreme benefit of those who control it. Centrally controlled currency is a key component of Marx's manefesto and a threat to the liberty of all peoples.
Try to understand there are people like me who clawed their way out of some of the worst circumstances you can imagine. Try to imagine that same person seeing others too lazy to even attempt it. Try to imagine that same person knowing what it's like to live in squalor, and destitution, and knowing exactly what needs to be done to get out. Try to imagine that same person now being attacked for having a "life of privilege." People have fear because they are weak. People have fear because they are ignorant. People have fear because they are uneducated. People have fear because instead of relying upon themselves for the solution they seek a forceful solution wrought by the government onto others that are capable and have made a life for themselves. Nothing justifies theft of work, property, and intellect from those who've strove their entire lives to attain it. Cull the weak, thin the herd.
Capitalism is NOT trade. Capitalism is a top down undemocratic structuring of the means of production. Please read my anti capitalism thread to understand what I mean when I say capitalism. Then we can keep discussing.
