Only by the terminally stupid. They didn't seem to notice that other world leaders were also meeting with each other.
Is that my quote? I don't think so. Here are some of the things I said in the thread you referenced: I started the thread to see if Trump supporters would find the conduct described in the dossier outrageous IF it were shown to be true. I was neither pleased with the dossier nor outraged by it - just thought the allegations warranted investigation. The takeaway I got from the thread was that Trump supporters: - would never believe the allegations were true, regardless of the evidence - wouldn't care if the allegations were true Edit - you will notice that I did say, in that thread itself, that if the allegations were shown to be false, Trump and his campaign staff would be right to be outraged.
People spend more time than that talking about a football game and you figure two hours should be sufficient to discuss sanctions, energy supplies, Islamic terrorism, the Middle East, trade, and so on? .Are these the 'unnamed sources' again? Aren't good for whom? There are some serious things happening in the world and you're concerned about 'optics'? Isn;t it time to look at the realities about what's going on and not train in on CNN and MSNBC for their 'optics'? Well let's hope so. Who would you suggest sit in with the US President to make sure the subject of his meeting with Putin was 'legitimate'? Hillary Clinton? Bernie Sanders? Nancy Pelosi?
I've never responded to anyone in any thread on the subject. I don't know if you're just trying to be cleaver, or you're trying to tie me to some group of deniers. But in either case, major fail. Two wrongs don't make a right, which you're proving it in real time. An informed and responsible person, no matter who they are and what they do in life, prepares for contingencies. Nobody (yes, that includes you) knows what Mueller will end up doing. Notwithstanding Mueller's reputation, it doesn't matter how you think he'll operate. If you and/or those around you are under some kind of investigation, you make sure you understand all your options for any potential outcome. Are you one of those people who go through life expecting others to look out for you?? There were no deflections. I pointed out in my responses to you who actually has some serious flaws. I'll certainly admit Trump is a loose cannon. He wasn't my guy. But he IS my President. He is YOUR President. Too many democrats and other insane leftists can't/won't accept this reality, and their response?? Do everything they can to undermine his Presidency, to satisfy and justify their failed ideology. Now "BOO!! There is a Russian standing behind you!!"
I spit up my coffee at the notion that there is anything you've advanced that I've missed or can't keep up with. At least you can sometimes be amusing.
Something's wrong here. Your reply doesn't fit my comment. No, I'm saying you won't find a more qualified person for the job. So trump sees one of his options to be a pardon, which means a pardon for a crime. There is nothing else to pardon. So considering and planning a pardon means an admission of guilt.... an acknowledgement of a crime. Are there such people? How do you know? If you know they exist, you must be one. And you were wrong and I pointed out the real situation. So you think this is just a "witch hunt" I presume, even with all the circumstantial evidence that supports each other, painting an inescapable picture.
Mueller is qualified. I didn't dispute that. Still, it's appropriate for Trump to understand all his options. There is an old saying that's time tested: " Hope for the best but prepare for the worst". Again, you have no clue (nobody does) about what Mueller will eventually decide. There is no reason for Trump not to be prepared for any contingency. At this point, that's all unhinged speculation. Simply trying to understand the boundaries and conditions of issuing pardons is nothing more than responsible due diligence. You're seeing those Russians in the shadows again. Given that for a year the MSM has rabidly looked under every rock, scoured every trash can, and have otherwise miserably failed in trying to connect dots that just won't connect says this is more wishful thinking than reality. Investigations by the Intelligence agencies and Congressional committees have been no more successful in identifying "smoking gun" criminal activity. Still, you act like this is all a done conclusion. What kind of inescapable picture does that really paint??
You "question" was always rhetorical, a distraction from Trump kneeling to his master.....Trump knows well who his is owned by.
That is a direct question learn the difference and try to answer this time. You said So he was only allowed to speak with the Japanese at the dinner?
So you run away with a weak deflection as usual. You seriously lack any debating skills when pressed. Trump is owned by Putin, try again to debunk this. I'll wait.
Runaway? I'm right here directly addressing your fallaciuos nonsense so instead of trying to dance around it answer the question. You said So he was only allowed to speak with the Japanese at the dinner?
Still stuck in trolling for a way out when you can't debate the topic..........carry on then. Trump was on his knees to Putin, what else is he going to give away for nothing in return for the American people.
1. if you say this is my quote, please point me to it, because I can't find a post with me saying this: "Yep, the dossier is beginning to check out on several fronts for sure with this latest report from Maddow. And just so Trump supporters know, this information that checks out, is coming from our intelligence, not Maddow. And what is interesting the most, is the fact that Trump in that dossier is implicated in colluding with the Russians ." 2. Straw man. I never said I posted anything about alleged collusion between Russia and Democrats. You need to read what I write, not what you think I write.
Poster needs to find some distraction to always shield himself(?) behind. This is one of those. His MO, don't wait for proof, he does not have it.
Bluesguy is one of the most reliable posters on PF. I don't know know what happened here. It's kind of weird. Regardless, he's proven over time that he doesn't need anything to shield himself. When I think of incredibly weak shields, I always think of one poster in particular who monotonously uses the "trolling" deflection and the "off topic" deflection over and over. I wish I could recall his name. His responses are more predictable that a coin with the same two sides being flipped.
I again ask you to provide me with a link to me saying this: "Yep, the dossier is beginning to check out on several fronts for sure with this latest report from Maddow. And just so Trump supporters know, this information that checks out, is coming from our intelligence, not Maddow. And what is interesting the most, is the fact that Trump in that dossier is implicated in colluding with the Russians ." You claim it is my quote but I can't find any post where I have said that. So your two options are: 1. link to my post where I said that or 2. withdraw your claim that I said that and apologise for having misrepresented that I wrote that
