    Its likely got much more to do with Bannon undercutting the president on the NORKs and response thereto. He contradicted his boss' statement, you don't do that and keep your job. But keep thinking whatever you'd like.

    Bannon opposed preemptive war, so he outraged the DC political class.

    Aside from a few of the AltRight who are intelligent I do not believe that the yahoos who walked around with Swastikas , and yelled zig heir and heir Trump, and blood and soil, and the savages of the KKK really know or care who Bannon is. Take a look at Zombies who sit right behind Trump at his constant rallies do you really think that there is any intellectual activity between those ears! There are just Pavlovian dogs who chant Mexico when when the Orange Dildo asks who will pay for the war. They are the dogs who chant lock her up when Clinton's name is spoken. They do not know and cannot put together a coherent statement supporting why she should get locked up when the Dildo farts they chant.

    One should look at the real history. Go back 50 years and you see how Danial Ellsberg proved that the entire government had lied to the people and congress. Snowden and others have come along to show the same thing. Even JFK's father Joe Kennedy advised him that what you are is not important- what people think you are will control your future. Look at the Clinton actions where lacking court-quality proof, the very circumstances of selling influence is so vastly overwhelming that only fools don't accept it.

    Point is- you have been being lied to by various leaders and agencies of the American government all your life. If Trump makes a statement that is untrue, it certainly doesn't break any new ground. To be offended only by lies of someone you dislike and ignore the commonality of it is self serving.

    I would love to see an honorable government that would deal with the truth and focus on it's real duty to act in the best interests of the people and nation at all times. That hasn't existed in my lifetime.
