Aside from teenagers killing each other in London, http://www.croydonadvertiser.co.uk/...ornton-heath/story-30474909-detail/story.html Germany and Austria don't have freedom of speech https://www.theverge.com/2017/6/30/15898386/germany-facebook-hate-speech-law-passed http://www.jta.org/2017/02/19/news-...under-law-that-makes-holocaust-denial-illegal , some country in the Middle East have arrested a 14 year old boy for dancing the Macarena http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/08/22/saudi-teenager-arrested-dancing-macarena-street/ Bangladesh is under water http://news.sky.com/story/flooding-kills-at-least-700-across-south-asia-10998893 Italy has Earth Quakes http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/d...ischia-earthquake-naples-travel-advice-italy/ The world's full of people in jeans, t shirts, shorts, who drink Coco-Cola if they're lucky. People dress American and drink licensed American copies. Terrorism in Barcelona, and all around except for Oregon or Wisconsin. Why would anyone want to go to South America when Rio has gangs, Argentina has Nazis.
I would, no problemo. I once preferred Canada, but when that limp tool landed the corner office and turned the country into a Safe Space, I decided they weren't going to get my money.
I'd go to Ireland if I had a job and an affordable house. Might would go to the fringe countryside in the UK under the same conditions. The reality is that housing is so freaking expensive throughout both places that it is better to just remain where I am.
Not in Dublin but in rural Ireland, women were banned from buying pints of beer until 1976, also, try getting an abortion in Ireland, you can't.
You're missing the bigger picture here, why would you want to go to a culture that up until recently forbade women from leaving home without a man? Also, people in Ireland wish they were American.
Also, you can't speak your mind in Ireland neither. http://www.independent.ie/irish-new...comments-on-the-meaning-of-life-35684262.html
I'm not quite sure what the intent of this thread is. Is it that things stink all over, or free speech is dying worldwide?
It's that things stink everywhere. Many people around the world think they're too good to go to America and 'want to see the world' then go to some place where abortion is illegal, the people are poor and sound goofy when singing karaoke, or worse, end up in some flood or earthquake or act of terrorism.
Doesn't speak English. I've not heard of any Liechtenstein brands or culture. They may as well be goat hoarders who abuse their women and entertain themselves with pranks involving donkeys. Saying **** like 'you buy' 'you buy'. I'd rather not risk it. America has big screen TVs and Pepsi.
I've got my eye on Waukesha near Milwaukee to end my trip in the US that I'm planning. Going to take the train from Oregon.
Liechtenstein is one of the most free market-countries in the world. They have Pepsi and tellies too, don't worry. And no, they don't "abuse their women", it is a modern, European country ffs.
I mean those as examples of American things the world has. Nothing from Lichtenstein is springing to mind.
What's so bad about the UK anyways? London seems to be a hellhole and Birmingham likewise. But, the other places seem pretty cool to me.
