Sounds like shes finally become an embarrassment to the left. They'd rather we ignore her AND Barack although neither has the sense to step aside. IMO, they've become symbols of their party... laughing stocks.
I am fairly sure that it did happen. As someone who has been through a couple of elections and worked many others, I can tell you first hand that incidents like this happen all the time to elected officials and former candidates. And, yes, they are looking for absolution. They are alway embarrassed to admit that they did not vote. As for this: "You abdicated your responsibility as a citizen......." I agree with her 100%. BTW, if you didn't vote, I don't think you belong on this forum.
Well, she's not POTUS. If the tradeoff is giving her some free royalty, then that's a tradeoff that I'll take even now. I mean, don't get it twisted: There's a bunch of other things we can do with our time than talk about the old, unattractive grandmother. It's just sad that if the far-right can't get past it, neither can she(clearly).
I know she isn't POTUS. Not sure what that comment meant. The far right is obsessed with Clinton. It is sad that they can't get past it. I don't expect her to get past it. She's capitalizing on their obsession. I doubt most Democrats will read her book, but I would guarantee that most alt righters will.
She had a life long ambition to be the first woman President of the United States. Against that, she had to combat a relentless and well funded "get Clinton" campaign that has been going on since before you were born. In the end, it worked, but it took twenty five years of of constant right wing noise and money. Even then she won the popular vote, and only lost by a razor thin plurality in electoral votes.
I know this is directed at me.(In fact, your the first one I thought of when I read lil Hillary's quote.) And let me say this clearly: My responsibility to a politician is not to put them in power. I owe her no responsibility or obligation, nor does anyone else who didn't vote. My only responsibility is the decision to participate or not. And no, my lack of participation doesn't mean I don't get to complain about the President's failure. The President's failure, is on him/her. I have all of the same rights as I did prior to the vote. She's just upset that I didn't exercise them for her. Well, that's too bad. She should've tried harder.
She is the one who has an on demand platform on TV through many of the talk show hosts who supported her campaign without hiding it whatsoever. She is the one going on TV and providing material that the public is mocking/laughing at her with. My wife for example does not care much for politics, but finds the Hillary excuse list (done in the most shrill voice ever heard) very funny and entertaining. On a side note, I really hope 'Ol Hill runs in 2020 again. I'm sure the DNC can rig it and make her the nominee again.
The DNC brand is garbage - and she's the gate blocking the bulldozer. It will be really interesting to see how true to the establishment hardliners stay without the Clinton machine's gun to their heads, and an ever growing segment of the left that wants their own version of nationalism - vs the internationalism the establishment peddles.
Actually, I was thrilled when she said she wouldn't be a candidate ever again. Those were the BEST words ever spoken. This country needs to elect someone qualified to the Oval Office. It'd be great if we could go back to our roots and elect a military-experienced President. Order and discipline. Jim Webb still has my vote for standing up to the crazies in the party.
A poster of Hillary Clinton is what your doctor shows you when you have an erection that lasted more than four hours.
Yeah... except that it's much more consistent to take what she says as a lie if you want to be correct about her.
I hardly got past the second sentence. What a collection of self righteous prattle!!!!!! No one, not even her, said that a voter's resonsibility is to vote for a particular candidate. There are very few politicians (and not one, who is worth their salt) that does not feel the same way Hillary Clinton does about your obligation as a citizen to vote. I can tell you that from first hand experience, too. You have the right to run your mouth any time you want. No one has the obligation to listen to you or take you seriously. And when you abdicate the one basic obligation of citizenship in a participatory democracy, they have every reason not to. You weren't there on election day. Everything you say after that is worthless.
Stop being a wannabe troll. Address the Subject or have enough discipline to ****. Same question should be asked of you and Trump.....trolling.
Well, being fair: No one's taken me seriously yet. And you know, I'm growing more and more comfortable with that actually. If no one takes me seriously, then I'm not to blame for everything going under. But I've never abdicated anything, I just wasn't obliged to help her reach "her dreams". Or propel anyone else, if I thought they could. I'm one single person out of 327 million, a single grain of salt in this country. While its true that the single grain of salts combine to be a significant enough number, the one grain alone is never important. As it turned out, quite a few million grain of salts ended up making the same decision I did. And hence the reason for her loss. Even if I did "participate", I could not have saved her dreams. As I said before: The only true way to participate, is to run for office.
It's amusing to suddenly see so many Hillary Clinton threads breaking out. The former Secretary of State and Senator who has no intention of ever running for public office clearly fascinates a few folks. It's reminiscent of when Nixon was a beleaguered POTUS, and all his disenchanted followers suddenly wanted to obsess over George McGovern.
Well, I guess that closes the book about one of the worst Presidential candidate ever, with pettiness and sour grapes - totally in line with her character.
Of course they would. What they don't like is their Cult Idols having **** talked about them. Note how we always hear this bullshit about Hillary living in peoples heads. All those into politics, that is. Wherein the politics, the players, and the people are put on display. Imagine that, huh. Its like, "what".....OMG that's never been done before. Here the Democrats have these so called leaders in their party that they pimp out to the public. Build them up as the stars of their party. Gather them a following. Nurture and support their so called leader, help them get into the media and as a known public official. A money maker.....able to draw that cash in. All dealing with politics. Oh and some establishing legacies with their party and a movement for their ideology. Yet they should be ignored. Not talked about. As you say.....a symbol for their kind. Not even when they keep putting themselves back into the public and keep coming out and saying some outrageous things or just are flat out lying. Then we still get the illiberals looking to shut down the speech. What they don't like to hear or see, or read about. Even show up on political sites and do all they can to shut down talking about their Cult Idols. Sometimes I wonder about that part wherein like an epiphany will set in on them and the "duh", its a political site......will finally flash by and widen their eyes. KnowwhatImean?
Yep, Steve with more people to blame and excuses as to why she lost. Whats your favorite excuse by Hillary? So far I am going with the Media and her saying that they lean to the Right.
http://conservativefighters.com/new...l&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=buffer Couldn't agree more.
She's the most corrupt and repulsive national candidate since Nixon. Her ruthless ambition and hijacking of the party has all but leveled it. She and the DNC criminally colluded to destroy a once in a lifetime candidate in Sanders. She is the reason Trump is president. But she - and her loyalists - still don't get it. She belongs in prison, but she's still roaming free, inspiring hatred, division and destruction. She is a pox.
Why are you both and others giving her free publicity? Outrage about their writings is a dream that many writers desire
Hillary Clinton: "I'm Not Going Anywhere"...... From Hillary Clinton's Sept. 12 interview with Rachel Martin on NPR's Morning Edition: RACHEL MARTIN, NPR: Although you say you still want a role in shaping the Democratic Party of the future, you're still going to talk about the issues you find to be important, but there are some Democrats out there saying they don't want you to do that. That writing this book is opening old wounds, re-litigating a past and it doesn't help move the party forward. Have you reconciled that, that people might not want you around as the party steps forward? HILLARY CLINTON: Well, they don't have to buy my book, and they can turn off the radio when they hear me talking. I'm not going anywhere. I have the experience, I have the insight, I have the scars that I think give me not only the right, but the responsibility to speak out. And 2018 is going to be incredibly momentous. We have a chance I won 24 congressional districts that have a Republican member of Congress sitting in them. And I think that gives us some idea that maybe, if we are really focused we have a chance to pick up seats, maybe take back the House. We've got to defend the Democratic senators. I have a lot of ideas about how best to do that. And a lot of people are already calling asking for my help and my support. I've started a new organization called Onward Together, which is, you know, funding and lifting up some of the grassroots groups that have started around the country. I'll be supporting candidates. So there will always be the naysayers. I understand that and most of them as you might notice are anonymous, but that's fine. But I'm responding to a very large outpouring of people who want to know what I have to say, who are excited that I'm not going to be, you know, slipping away into the background, but going to stay front and center, doing what I can to try to speak out on behalf of this country that I love, and just want to do everything I can to make sure it's strong going forward......snip~ https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2017/09/12/hillary_clinton_im_not_going_anywhere.html There goes that lame concept of ignoring the pathetic and corrupt mope. Right out the window. It went that-away >>>>>
