In my view one of the great movie intros of all time. Ridley Scott's Thelma and Louise Of course, not just a great intro but a great film all around. From story, to acting, to filming locations and probably most of all a soundtrack that just plain kicks ass! There's really no other way to say it.
Maybe makes a great looking Navy recruiting ad, or an intro to a Navy training film but that's about it. Not even close to being great film intro.
I haven't seen this yet, I thought that toilet scene was the opening scene, but still, was enough for me, ew.
This movie scared me to death, and I don't care if it was a lot of parody, especially this opening scene when she gets dragged off into woods and killed. Scary! I hate horror movies, and I will never forget the opening scene from Scream. I was camping at a friends cabin in the woods when I first saw it, and that is probably why I was so scared too. Lol.
One of the greatest movies of all time-Klaus Kinski-a paranoid Schizo plays Don Lope de Aguirre, a Paranoid schizo in Herzog's Tour de Force the open scene of this movie is spectacular, shot under incredible hardships in the Amazon and Andes
Edit: The first one I posted only showed the credits to the movie, so here is the real opening scene!
Haven't seen this yet. I saw this though. Another Tom Hanks movie with an interesting intro of a little boy working.. Was Cast Away (2000) but I couldn't find it on YouTube.
