Now we're finding out Susan Powers an Ambassador unmasked Trump people all the way to inauguration. What the heck was going on here surely you lefties don't support this obvious abuse of power. Why the heck is an Ambassador requesting unmasking daily on trump campaign members? This is a very serious abuse of privatsy and power.http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...ricans-on-almost-daily-basis-sources-say.html
I'm beginning to think we at minimum found some of the leakers of confidential info. There is zero excuse for an Ambassador to unmask the trump team a couple days before inauguration. Scary America these days.
They will justify any action they feel benefits them. Now, the collective will adapt, and no longer go through proper channels to leak data they want to leak, and hide data they want to hide.
She was trying to figure out why all these Americans were talking and meeting with Russian agents.... And now we know
So when they were trying to set up secret back channels; meeting with Russian banks, talking about sanctions, etc etc?
When did Samantha Powers and Susan Rice have any time for their real jobs? Or perhaps "Barry's Angels" were doing their real jobs, i.e. political espionage.
you are aware that Susan did not work for the DOJ right? You are aware that the unmasking had nothing to do with russia, according to Rice, right? You are aware we now learned that at least some of this had to do with the UAE leadership meeting with the president elect, ignoring Obama, right? yeah... you are aware.
What "obvious abuse of power". Making a request is not the same as having one granted. Even the article you cite notes that there are specific criteria for the intelligence community to follow in evaluating such requests. Of course, we know that the Trump campaign had frequent communications with Russian nationals identified with both the FSB and with oligarchs associated with Putin throughout the campaign and beyond. At the time of this request, the outgoing Adminstration was learning that the Trump team had actually approached the Russians about setting up a back door communications set up inside the Russian embassy so that Trump officials could talk directly, and through coded communication with Moscow. We would subsequently learn that Kushner also worked on doing the same thing in meetings with Russians in the Seychelles. For people in the foreign policy and intelligence communities NOT to have raised alarm bells would have been a serious derelection of duty. Especially, since it was very clear from the consistantly dishonest and reckless behavior of the Trump team, that all of this would have been aggressively covered up, had the information not been made public before the inauguration. As it was, we subsequently learned that practically every single senior member of the Trump team falsified their applications for security clearance, and several of them acted as paid agents for foreign governments. Devin Nunes compromised his own integrity by allowing himself to be rope a doped into a ridiculous staged act in which he ran to the White House to publicly hand the White House documents the White House handed him to use as props in his act. He also did not talk to any of his colleagues on the committee before he did this piece of pandering.
Both, I'll bet. Why is either one of these politically appointed adjuncts to president Obama doing the work that trained intelligence analysts and collectors would normally and rightfully be doing? It can only be because of the political element of Rice and Powers digging through the dirt on behalf of their sponsor, Obama. And it doesn't help that the story keeps changing. Hunting down Trump campaign workers cutting deals with evil Russians has become investigating a UAE figure for some hazy reason. I can't wait to see where the story goes next.
I wonder when all those people who are whinging about "unmasking" will find out that "unmasking" does not mean its public information. Its still classified. I am truly impressed with the rights ability to create something out of relatively nothing. A normal procedure becomes a dastardly leftist plot to underming the true patriots of the right. But it does make a great "story" to add to the "intransigent" section of your local bumpersticker library.
