Both are flags representing parts of our history with the national flag being the prevailing one. While I do not find it "unacceptable" for someone to kneel, burn or disrespect our flag, I don't respect them either. I wouldn't hire such a person nor employ their services in any other way. They have their rights and I have mine.
A person looks at those flags and sees what he chooses to see. But how can a person call this the greatest country on Earth yet disrespect what symbolizes it? In my opinion those peop,e are just doing what they've been conditioned and told to do.
The NFL forbade the players from having "9/11" on their helmets and uniforms, but they allowed Kaepernick to have images of cops drawn as pigs on his uniform. The NFL sucks.
The confederate flag doesn't bother me, it only became an issue recently and was even glorified by Hollywood when it made them money. If the conferderate flag is wrong then someone needs to explain to me why now.
The NFL threatened the Cowboys with fines if they put stickers on their helmets out of respect for the cops BLM shot and killed.
I have Hollywood film where the flag of the confederacy flies. I don't get the big deal over the flag either. If Democrats feelings are that hurt, tell them all not to buy the confederate flag.
That's what they say when we don't like what they do. But if they don't like what we do it needs to immediately stop, be torn down, protested, rioted, burned and erased from history. How has the NFL protest helped any cause? Do they even know what the cause is?
The Confederate flag is a traitorous flag resulting from an insurrection against the US government and the country by traitors. Why would anyone support this over a perceived "disrespect" of the actual US Flag is beyond my comprehension.
I use to fly the confederate flag on my truck when I was younger. used it as a symbol like many of us at that time did for being a southerner and a rebel a protest against authority you could say. then I got older and realized it was disrespectful, because many viewed it as racist as condoning slavery. I understood the offense and stopped even thou that wasn't my intention to be racist or condone slavery Now we have these players voicing their protest by kneeling during the anthem. I'm sure many no all but many didn't do so out of disrespect, but once they realized most viewed it as a sign of disrespect they should have stopped and found a more appropriate time and place to voice their protest. just like I stopped with the confederate flag when I found out it was offensive to many, but did they stop? hell no they double downed on it showing me their intention was to be offensive was to be disrespectful
The right are full of hypocrites. http://www.patheos.com/blogs/progre...ational-anthem-protest-confederate-flags-fly/
Kaepernick started it. Do you want to see him with his white family? Do any us know of any arrest made against Colin Kaepernick?
Support it 'over' the US flag? You guys walk on, burn it and wipe your butts with the US flag. I don't need lectures from people who suddenly find patriotism by disrespecting our flag while idolizing Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro all while wearing your Che t shits.
Projections and deflections. Prove that I did any of those things. You can't can you. Intellectually dishonest post while not even addressing the actually OP.
What makes it unacceptable? If I tie my shoe when the anthem is playing, is that supposed to be unacceptable? Or how about if I check a text while the anthem is playing? Is that unacceptable too? Conservatives are treating this like athletes spread feces like peanut butter all over the American Flag.
So, if I continue working during a National Anthem tune over the intercom, that makes it fine to fire me? And you guys consider yourselves advocates of freedom.
You equals the unpatriotic leftists you support and defend. Face it bro, you approve of anti American behavior and lie about calling it being patriotic. In one thread you guys call disrespecting the flag patriotic, on this one yiu act offended with your claim of putting another flag over it. Besides the Mexican and gay pride flags, what other flags do you actually like?
Is there an expectation that you do it? And don't talk to me about freedom when you spent most of this shutting down free speech.
and those pics were taken when? I see many number 3 flags flown being Dale Earnhardt senior he died over 16 years ago so those pics are order then 16 years In another pic I do believe that is Richard Petty's car on the track he stopped racing in 92 you massively failed dragging out pics older then 16 years just more dishonest bull crap from the left and why you just need to be dismissed outright
