Aha Hmm. Otherwise your game would be boring, I guess. One moment: You think you have the right to murder every German if you like to do so? That's what your game tells you? Nice? You think Germans enslaved people? Where comes this information from? What a nonsense. Why should you not live?
By the way: We don't have "think tanks", specially not an "official think tank". So the bullshit here is for sure not a German idea.
We rule Europe. We are the richest nation and have the most powerful passport. I´m an apprentice and can afford travelling Seychelles, Chile and Australia. So you can storm the Reichstag in a video game. I can storm american tourist girls at a beach at La Digue / Seychelles
How long do you think before the Euros wise up and take military action? Or do you think they'll bend over and spread their cheeks for a nice wide load of Russia natural gas? https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...en-dominating-european-energy-for-two-decades Europe has wanted to wean itself from Russian natural gas ever since supplies from its eastern neighbor dropped during freezing weather in 2009. Almost a decade later, the region has never been more dependent. Gazprom PJSC, Russia’s state-run export monopoly, shipped a record amount of gas to the European Union last year and accounts for about 34 percent of the trading bloc’s use of the fuel. Russia will remain the biggest source of supply through 2035, Royal Dutch Shell Plc said last week, echoing comments by BP Plc in January. EU lawmakers have had their hearts set on diversifying supplies with liquefied natural gas delivered by tanker from the U.S., where production of the fuel skyrocketed last year. So far, those shipments have failed to materialize amid a lack of firm contracts and higher prices outside Europe. Overall, LNG shipments to the region, led by Qatar, were stagnant last year. “Russia will for sure remain Europe’s largest gas supplier for at least two more decades,” even if most of the incremental gains in EU imports are met by LNG from somewhere else, said Vladimir Drebentsov, chief economist for Russia and CIS at BP in Moscow.
We pay for the gas and its 1/3 of the price we would have to pay if we would buy american gas. Its called capitalism. Propably a new concept for you. But another question, how often does USA have to suck us off to get Deuterium? Do you suck us more than you suck the russians to get their rocket engines for your antares and delta rockets or less?
Correct. Capitalism is good. And what if the Russians decide to jack up the price to Euro one cent less than the American gas thereby almost tripling costs? What will happen to your economy? By giving you gas at such a low price, the Russians are doing the same as drug dealers who give out samples of heroin or crack. Yes, it's free or very low cost until you are hooked, then they jack up the price. Rockets are a convenience not a necessity. It's not like we're buying our ICBMs from Mother Russia. Good luck this winter if the Russians decide they need to snap your leash to keep you in line. Prost!
I guess you speak here now about hundreds of languages of I don't know how many ethnicities in dozens of nations and much more regions. In general US-Americans - ¿are you an US-American? - make the mistake to think Europe is a kind of USA. Europe is much more complex than the USA - indeed the USA is only one of the European cultures. Wisdom and military action are a strange combination of words. This sentence is a break with the traditions of our code of behavior, which comes from the holy empire. Your sexual perversions have nothing to do with courtly love and chivalry. What you say here is just simple disgusting and shows a crude banality of simple minded thoughts. I don't have any problem with Russia nor with Russians independent from the concrete ethnicity. Russia has the same main roots as our western world. And the problem around the Krim is for me not an important problem. And yes: We buy natural gas from Russia. And I don't think it makes a big sense to buy from the USA natural gas - but why not? "We" buy and sell lots of goods worldwide. What has the trade with natural gas to do with military actions?
¿Says a poor man? Capitalism is more a kind of drug than it has something to do with reality and rationality. A similar drug problem exists in case of socialism/communism, which has not a lot to do with reality and love.
Nice dodge on the questions. So, if you are all so different, why open your borders to strangers? Shouldn't you quit the EU and go back to protecting your borders? Russia has the same roots? LOL. Dude, in case you haven't figured it out, most North Americans are of European descent. So, yeah, we all have "the same main roots as our western world". A funny dodge by someone who, in the very same post, claimed "Europe is much more complex than the USA".
Another nice dodge. So what do you think is the best way to provide wealth, prosperity and what is best for a planet of almost 8 billion human beings?
The russians have no other option than sell the gas to us. There are no pipelines yet to China. And russia depends heavily on the payments. Its a double edged sword for them. Even in harshest cold war times, Russia did always deliver. If Russia decided to tripple the price, we will switch to gas from Iran. Russia on the other hand has no delivery capabilities to other customers. So when will Russia do what you suggest? Because the contracts run since 1976 and they somehow did nothing yet to raise the price in such a manner you suggest. Germany has excellent relations to Iran if Putin decides to make financial suicide, we have the Ayatollah in Line to fill the void.
Putting you back into the same situation.... and explains why Russia is making so many overtures to both Turkey and Iran plus explaining one of their interests in Syria. Russia doesn't have to control Iran's gas to Europe if they control the pipelines going from Iran to Europe. For those who know how to read a map:
I guess you suggest that we should switch to american gas instead because you are so much more trustworthy than our russian partners?
I don't know squat about video games but after living in Germany (mid 1970s), I had the opportunity to talk to many Germans who survived post WW1, the Weimar Years, Hitler's rise to power, WW2, etc. I'm afraid that whatever "history" you've been exposed to via video games etc has been told only from the perspective of the Victors
I know English is a second language for you, but what is so difficult to understand about "Awesome! Then you have nothing to worry about"? Sit back, relax and make your Oktoberfest plans. All is right with the world and Deutschland.
Oktoberfest? Im not a bavarian. We dont celebrate Oktoberfest in Thüringen. Thats a purely bavarian thing.
It's a harvest thing, but I can see why the frickin' Soviets stomped it out along with religion and everything else they didn't like.
