What a gruesome ankle injury to the Celtic's Jason Hayward on opening night. Sadly, it ratchets back the Celtics expectations. ___________ I still believe (like most NBA observers) that Golden State is the team to beat.
That was horrible to watch. Celts still played a game against the cavs though. Wish Kyrie hit that 3 though.... I'm really interested to see how OKC and Houston do in the west this year. Curious how that idiot Lonzo Ball does as a rookie for LA
Hm. Wonder why I thought that. Maybe it's someone else I'm thinking at that's going to be traded next year to play with Davis.
Yeah. That site that I linked has all of the current present (and future) contract info (for all sports) including opt-outs and UFA eligibility.
Pistons gave up a King's Ransom to acquire Blake Griffin. Probably a bad move for Detroit. But, time will tell.
Celts are not looking great right now. Toronto and Cleveland are driving hard. Celtics just look tired.
Do you think the lakers will buy out Thomas? I have a strange feeling they will instead of keeping him. I also have a feeling his career is close to over if they do
Not sure. He seems to be doing OK, since the trade. Celtics have a nice Big 3 in Irving, Horford and Tatum to go against the Cavs in the East. I am starting to think the Lakers might just hang on to Thomas.
Here's my take on the Celtics. 1. Brad Stevens and Danny Ainge are geniuses 2. Tatum, Horford, Brown, Hayward, Rozier, and Smart are all young, adaptable, and talented players. 3. Tatum will be the face of the Celtics 4. What does this mean for Kyrie? He still has massive trade value even with his injury. 5. Celtics are going to trade Kyrie and be even more stacked next year with a bigger player plus Hayward back If the C's can make it this far with this small of a team, and playing with 6th and 7th men...just wait till next year
You're absolutely right. Here's my problem with the hype the C's are getting right now. LeBron always uses game one as a "feel out" game. In the playoffs, he usually plays awful game one then dominates the series after adjustments. However, I am a die hard C's fan and hate Lebron so LET'S GO CELTICS!
if Morris can repeat the Lockdown D on LeBron tonight, the Celts could definitely take the series. Being down 2-0 (with the Celts having homecourt) could be too steep of a hill for LBJ to climb. Gonna really see what LeBron and the Cavs are made of tonight.
Hopefully he can. Way too early for predictions though. Lebron is a wild card. He's great at adjusting. And as I said, he historically has horrible game one's in the east. He even interviewed about it with Stephan A Smith a while back. He called game one the "feel out game". Game by game. Let's get a W tonight and the pressure is on.
Dude. No way LeBron is staying in Cleveland next year. He posted a triple double with over 40 points and lost to a team that's too fast for him. He's going to LA. He hates his team. Him and Kevin Love had like 75 points combined and they lost. Cleveland is not a championship team and Lebron is a super team-whore. He will leave if they lose this series.
