Not quite since we know Trump lied at least three times. One when he said Obama and other Presidents didn't make calls. Two when he denied what he actually said to the widow as witnessed by the congresswoman and the widow. And three when he said he had proof that he didn't say what he actually said.

So far I don't believe there have been any lies by Wilson so far in this incident.

 

I just wanted the OP to say he thinks what Trump did was wrong (since he thinks what Wilson did was wrong). It would be refreshing to see a Trump devotee have a little moral character for a change. I won't hold my breath, though. Honesty and moral character are in short supply amongst the citizens of Trump Fan Nation.

You have to give the Trump supporters a bit of a break. They voted for Trump and are invested in his sucess even though it is clear that he has only made the swamp more fetid and appears to be devoting his entire Presidency to enriching himself and the upper class to the detriment of the rest of America.

 

There's nothing at all wrong with acknowledgement of the fact that these guys are incredibly brave when they knowingly go into harm's way for their country and in fact it is praise of the highest form.

Trump isn't mature and stable enough to make condolence calls of this nature. The Johnson's have had close ties with Congresswomen Wilson for years. This Gold Star family fully backs up and supports Wilson's description of Trump's crude and insensitive condolence call. Since members of the Gold Star family are so closely linked with Congresswoman Wilson and her sentiments they must be pukes also per your logic.

 

I would still love to hear the family say they are sorry they upset Trump, that they were suffering with grief and that they are sorry if they misunderstood his intentions, that would be one for the history books

Why would they have to say that we're sorry for something that they did not do? The Trumpocity upset them not the other way around. Well, I think President Trump could have said anything to that wife and she would have taken offense no matter what. She should have rejected the call if she hates President Trump that much. And even if she was offended, which she shouldn't be given what President Trump said to her, she and the congresswoman should have had the good sense not to broadcast it with the intent to make political hay out of what was obviously a sincere effort on the part of President Donald Trump to simply provide comfort and condolences to a grieving widow.

Obama did bug the Trump campaign and the transition team and Obama and his corrupt crew unmasked many of President Trump's associates and probably President-Elect Trump himself. The investigation is on going so go ahead and drink your blue dress flavored Kool-Aid.

La David Johnson was 25 years old. I don't know how old Mrs. Johnson is, but she's young. It's not easy to be the wife of a Green Beret. Particularly a young wife, with young children. Many of their missions are classified. The families are left in the dark. The purpose, and wisdom, of the missions are therefore left open to debate. Its easy to become bitter about the loss of a loved one when there doesn't appear to have been a purpose, or it seems that mistake may have been made. This is not the first time, nor will it be the last time, that family members of special operators, whose husbands, brothers, fathers, have died far away, have taken out their grief on the CIC. You add to that a CIC who has a history of not being able to show empathy, and you end up with what you have here.
