Please follow your own advice. Wealth creation is not over in one fell swoop it is an ongoing process. Every small business is engaging in wealth creation. You are suggesting that we should rest on our laurels. and frankly I know of no better route to impoverishment and economic destruction.
Don't worry I won't I don't post these things to help the reality challenged but for those who don't know the truth of the situation.
I know nothing about this, but given the situation at the time with blacks being treated as chattel and his refusal to rent to blacks, it is more likely that he was arrested for klan activity than otherwise.
True, wealth creation is an ongoing process, and every small business is trying to survive. Wealth creation is not on the table, and the chances of small business benefiting from Trump's proposals are slim. Been there. Possible for some job creation, but not better pay. I don't know where I suggested that we rest on our laurels, but I don't believe that increasing the wealth of the wealthy is the answer. Frankly, this proposal and the dismemberment of regulations without due diligence may establish a route to impoverishment and economic destruction, as large corporations take full advantage of the elimination of environmental regulations in the interest of huge profits. The result may be a return to the days of the Robber Barons (Morgan, Clark, Mellon, Carnegie, Rockefeller, etc.), who took advantage and established huge monopolies, were corrupt, bribed congressmen, forced out competition, and then raised prices, all at the expense of the working class. This stuff occurred in the late 19th and early 20th century, and we know the result.
You don't bring a country "into the 20th century" by taking down its democratically elected government and setting up an autocratic puppet regime in its place. It's a contradiction. Would you accept it yourself? Would you accept that, say, Russia brings down your elected POTUS and put on some autocratic guy who shares their communist philosophy- Don't answer - it's clear you won't be able to, anyway. And Israel is, clearly, a bully and the ill-grafted finger that tries to reject the whole host. It's like saying that all Nazi Germany neighbours attacked it, making a victim state out of it - Ha ha ha. The Levant will know no peace as long as the zionist entity exists.
Or an admission of the unpleasant reality That in that time period you could rent to African Americans or Caucasians but seldom to both at the same time in the same building. Not and charge what you wanted to the Caucasians. Missed the point completely the shah was a modernist and reformer. So was Mossadiq. They would have had exactly the same set of enemies. And it's scarcely a contradiction and has happened repeatedly down through history. The last is obvious nonsense.
Supposing that's true, why did you brought it down, then? Why did you take a stand against democracy? And more importantly, what made you think the Iranians would accept it? That doesn't make it acceptable. It's wrong when it's done by other than you, ain't it? Please elaborate, if you can.
Okay reality and history determine right and wrong not so much from a moral perspective but from a perspective of what works and what doesn't. Without the shah Iran remains trapped in the 14th century because Mossadiq would have been lucky to last a couple of years before some crazy Muslim shot him for the wanting to treat women as if they had value beyond sex and producing children and if they hadn't some disposssed minor noble would have. As for the rest Your analogy was seriously flawed. There have always been Jews in what is now called Israel and what the Romans called Palestine. The Romans deported most of them in 70 AD but not all of them just as the Babylonians had roughly five and a half centuries earlier a remnant had now returned and united with what was left.
You don't get it yet because of an odd obsession with the jews. Trump is nothing more than whatever will benefit him at the moment. He has no political or moral principles that you can pin down. His character is too pathologically self-absorbed to care about any superficial ideological straightjacket. The only ones who really have him by the shorthairs is the mafia and he's been in their pocket for decades.
Would you please articulate the meaning of your Post a little more clearly? For the record, I don't care in the least about the religious, ethnic, or racial background of America's president. I care only that an American president's first loyalty is to the US and the G.I.s who defend it.
Obama was not a White HISP, but...man0man he used his Power, efficiently, to help America belong to his clients now. Obama was not a Jew, but...man0man he used his Power, efficiently, to help America belong to his clients now. Obama was not a LGBTQ, but...man0man he used his Power, efficiently, to help America belong to his clients now. Obama was not a Muslin refugee, but...man0man he used his Power, efficiently, to help America belong to his clients now.
What the hell are you talking about? How did Trump's grandfather's ethnicity all of a sudden morph into Obama again? Where is the tie-in? Was that your focus all along? And who cares?
The truth, cares. If any celebrated human including Obama is not a _____ but still uses his influence and his power to help his _____ clients take control of a society, then yes, Trump's grandfather can surely use his power and influence to help his clients in similar ways. Stop playing pretend in here.
JakeStarkey's problem is that he doesn't pretend he is incorrect, he knows he's incorrect then he gets mad at members who agree.
Good for Trump's grandfather! I applaud his choice of clients. You just don't get it. The statement was made that he was Jewish, and I simply pointed out that he was not Jewish. No malice intended, so drop it. You are going on and on about nothing. We are discussing his religion and NOT his business acumen. He did what any smart business person would do.
Me, too! But still, you reeeeally just don't get it, do you? The statement was made that he was Jewish, and you simply pointed out that he was not Jewish. Whereas I pointed out something far more colossal. Yes I used Obama's "White HISP illegal imm" agenda as a veracious example of how you do not have to be a member of a specific group in order to have them as clients. Clients who you use your power and influence to help them gain control of some thing or some place. No malice intended, but You are going on and on about nothing, by pretending Trump's grandfather cannot do the same for his clients as Obama did for his White HISP clients.
