I guess one could follow the line of logic that it is better to know where these pricks are and have them under control than have them wandering about under the radar?

Even here the filthy middle finger of the so-called "left" cannot let an opportunity to sublimely hoax us go by without sticking it to us. We are supposed to believe that these jihadists will return to "RE-integrate"?!

What makes you think they will suddenly adjust their movements in order to show up on our radar?

Exactly, and anyone who believes it is a gullible fool. In actual fact it's all down to government wishful thinking so they don't need to do anything. The other aspect is that the loony left would accuse the fools in Westminster of discrimination if they didn't provide housing for the returnees. The very last thing they have any intention of doing is integrating. I've said it so many times - you couldn't make up this ****!

That was my point. I hope they don't adjust their movements so that when they go off doing whatever they do they are watched and those they meet are tagged. Simple really just keep these bozos under the microscope.

It really burns me how government brainwashes the world by sublime packs lies, slipped into just about any situation. I was reading National Geographic a few years ago. It was an article about the wildlife in Irak (If I remember correctly) and how it's been affected by the war. The thing is, the article begins by saying something to the effect, "We have done an extensive study of Irak's wildlife to see how it's been affected since the United States began operations to introduce Democracy to that country." For **ck's sake! I've not opened the cover of a National Geographic Magzine since that day.

All things considered, the terrorists seem to be doing rather well despite whatever security is in place.

As I've said so many times - and as Rory Stewart MP said the other day - kill them before they kill us. They probably can't understand why we're not.

Not so simple - the security services said the other day there are 'watching' about 3,000 suspected jihadists - and they're only the ones they know about?? We may as well face it - when they get the official 'off' we'll be well and truly ****ed.

I guess... but it would be nice to know how many of these bellends get snapped up before they do anything nasty. You keep hearing about successes before the event but it would be interesting to know just how many are being zapped.... I know we can't for security reasons blah blah...

I was implying the rule of law. Within the constraints of our limp wristed legal system that has bolloxed our ability to act can you imagin how this would be possible?
What would happen if Mrs Al'bedammed gets zapped as she's walking down the street on her way to the shops having been mistaken for some bomber in burka?
All you do is inflame those on the fence and heypresto you have more converts to the cause....hmmmm

No sir, it isn't! Blame oil...if them fellas in the dunes hadn't found oil it would all be moot. So are we the harbingers of our own **** just so's we can pop off to the shops in our cars instead of on a horse?
    Meh getting off topic...

I think we're conflating two issues here; there's undoubtedly the 'oil' connection, but the other one is the 'biggie', and that's the centuries-old intention of fundamentalist Islam to dominate the world - it's the good-against-evil thing, aka Armageddon.

Sorry mate I'm not buying into that soundbite. Its all a bit too convenient and hackneyed for my liking. I know it stirrs passions and gets people riled and we start getting the usual quaran quotes carpet bombed on chat sites but.... nah not for me.

I am inclined to believe the only ones they catch are the ones they publicize .....

..... and the only concerns for security is not to let the terr's know how shabby security really is. I mean, we are continually being told "Mohammad El Aiun was known by the police as a potential terrorist" yet he just blew up a dozen civilians on the High Street this morning.

Too right. We have been invading, raping, torturing, murdering and ****ing them over their natural resources for quite some time now. That's bad, really bad .... and add salt to the gaping wound by justifying it without so much as a by your leave. Has anyone at the epicentre of this treachery ever honoured the million+ innocent men, women, and children who were snuffed in Iraq? Oh no and the goal post of righteous deeds has been shifted several times. Was it WMD's? Was it a regime change? And does either make it alright?

You've been the first Scotsman I've ever 'got on with', and that includes the ones I met during 4 years in the RAF, so I knew it wouldn't last, I just knew it!!

Where is the queen when you need one? I mean queen Victoria, she should know better how to deal with the garbage of hell.

She was probably as dumb as the present queen; royalty doesn't know anything. It's statesmen we need so desperately, and since we lost The Blessed Margaret there are none left.

The majority of recruits to join ISIS are from countries that were formally part of the Soviet Union. .. AKA the stans.
