The American standard of innocent until proven guilty is a legal standard, not a standard of public opinion. But you, as somebody who does not hesitate to throw accusations willy-nilly at the other side, already know that.

Oh the public opinion battle based on lies, slander and insinuations that the lest so decidedly lost a year ago? Well, keep it up, obviously Einstein's "doing the same thing and expecting a different result" definition of certain medical condition does not apply to the libs and progs.

How are we to believe this stuff is true when it comes out right before a big election.... Coincidence? Nope, dirty tricks.

Your post lost all credibility in your second sentence when you cited the nation's major newspapers.

I’d talk ... after your Boy gets 8 years ... until then ... Happy Thanksgiving ... I’m Happy 45 will never live up to 43 or 42, let alone 44.

He’ll never be more than a mistake or a joke or a ***** Grabber ... he said so, not me.

OK we went from "women have a right to be believed" to eh, it was consensual.

I think if you are arguing the specifics of accusations, you're missing the point. Your defending someone accused of rape, just not someone accused of child molestation. If the parties, were switched, it's clear that you would be defending your guy and getting the vapors about the other guy. That's why I don't care about your phony posturing. I already knew your position was based purely on partisanship, so why try to add more proof?

She wants to pay less taxes. Democrats want her to support more services for everyone. She believes in paying for what you receive.

If you're truly interested, you might want to peruse the many threads on this very forum that were argued about when Trump was a mere candidate.

I'm guessing you're probably not all that interested in any answer to your question, but... if you are... the search function is your friend.

No, simply the fact that everybody on this board, you, me, Mac,etc. draws opinions and makes accusations on people without them being found guilty, so mewling about Moore's deserved presumed innocence is naught but partisan hypocrisy.

Not really Al Gore so much as the measurable evidence of warming being documented by climate scientists around the globe. You folks remind me of the story I saw last week about how the rising sea level is effecting a coastal town in SC. There is a small island off the coast that is getting smaller as the sea rises. But because these folks are climate change deniers they attribute the whole thing to erosion. It was painful to watch them rationalize what is happening in front of their eyes so they wouldn't have to confront the truth.......that they are wrong and the GOP has been duping them for decades. Or at least as long as mainstream members of the GOP lost their minds and stopped believing in the truth.

The best plan from a politician is the Penny Plan

The way it works is spending is frozen at the revious years level and reduced 1% each year

Estimates are it would balance the budget in 10 yesrs

Penny Plan can't work. It doesn't take into account that the majority of spending is entitlement spending, which is the majority of the budget. You have to get a handle on entitlement spending before you can control Federal spending in general.

Reagan did not write the budget

Along with winning the Cold War reagan had to compromise with a wipe-every-nose welfare state congress that never has as much money as it wants

There will always be an "emergency" to justify more spending. I doubt that spending will ever be reduced unless most of the revenue collected by the IRS is somehow diverted away from the special interests and bureaucracies that define the core base of the political class.

Congress passed Graham/Rudman which would have balanced the budget decades ago. What happened to Graham/Rudman?

The same sort of thing would happen to the Penny Plan in the unlikely event that Congress ever subjected itself to such a reform.
