That wasn't what i was talking about. WE all know that Jordanians and Palestinians are the same people/culture - you know TRANSJORDAN. Do you recall from 1948 to 1967, the west bank was considered part of jordan? Now, do you have anything to say how the "other half" have been treated by their arab brethren?
That they ones on a brief moment were part of the same oppressed location some foreign ruler gave a name, doesn't make the people one and the same. Same foreign ruler put all kinds of kingdoms in Africa under one roof as well. That doesn't make them united one bit.
MOre than enough to provide administrative services throughout the territory. I am just as familiar with the area's history as you.
they were required to do that under international law. Jordan was almost kicked out of the Arab League due to the annexation.
T They are EXACTLY the same. You cannot differentiate a palestinian and a jordanian. Same language, same religion, same customs, same food, same culture prior to the hatred infecting palestinian culture that has matasticized over the decades of occupation. It was the British who decided to split them up.
I did not say or imply that. Please explain to me how the residents of western transjordan differ from the eastern portion other than location.
Nevertheless, JOrdan annexed the area ILLEGALLY under international law, it wasn't a "requirement" by any stretch. Of course that all ended in 67.
Just not true. There are multiple tribes and clans in Jordan. Same for Palestinians. That they all speak Arabic and are muslim doesn't make it all one group. When you go like that, it would mean that there is no difference between an Iraqi and a Kuwaiti, a Jordanian, a Syrian and an Egyptian. This all comes down to Jewish fake news, and them selling the idea that all the Palestinians should be ethnic cleansed and make a death march into Jordan as their final solution.
I think the Palestinians' main mistake was fleeing Israel in 1948. This diminished their numbers significantly and afterwards the few who stayed were toothless. Having left, I do not believe they will be going back to Northern Israel anytime soon. I would like to see the Jewish State agree to a partition where the Palestinians are given the southern part and then are cleared out of the northern part same as the partition of India and Pakistan went. I don't see any other workable solution.
totally true and has been since at least the 7th century. Talk about fake palestinian news - oh wait they never do that, do they?
Why the 7th century? Oh wait... that's that other fake Jewish news that all the Palestinians came with the Arabs and so they claim it's their land. While in fact those people have lived there as long as people can trace back.
You mean anthropology and history are fake jewish news? Might wanna actually do some research into the literally thousands of peer reviewed papers and books on the subject. Do you honestly believe that "palestinians" are not arabs?
yes thank you. I'm not sure what your point is. So far you have offered up nothing that disproves my statement that palestinians and jordanians are the same people except some fuzzy reference to biblical peoples. NO actual facts and seemingly no actual understanding.
Palestinians assimilated into Arab culture. That whole 7th century is a Jewish myth for the sake of their claim on the land is way stronger. I gave a comment on that. But if you do wonder about it... how about you google "Jordan tribes" or something. That entire crap in the middle east are all tribal communities. This is just the same. And for the luls that they do not actually speak the exact same language: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestinian_Arabic https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jordanian_Arabic
Any notion that somehow "palestinians" are the descendants of Canaanites is PALESTINIAN PROPAGANDA, not the result of scientific inquiry. I am well aware of the tribal nature of arab culture. You mean they have different accents? I guess Alabamian english is different than Maine english. Ever been to London? .
Have you looked up their ethnic background? Because you seem to question if they were assimilated. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestinians#Origins Right. So you know they are tribal as crazy. You know they do not all speak the same way. In fact,... wiki says it's "easily distinguished" from the others. So you're claim that they are all one and the same... it's just not. As for ever been to London. Right... great example. The way you look at it a white Christian from London, and a white Christian from Alabama are one and the same while you know it's not true.
No their ancestors were assimilated. There were no palestians in the first millenium just a bunch of disparate tribes of various genetic origin. But feel free to indulge in the fantasy that today's palestinians are direct descendants of those people. As a matter of fact there is a reasonable chance that the white christian from london AND the white Christian from Alabama sharing a forefather. Look at all those white christians in london who speak differently than the white christians who live a mile away. They sure as hell are all one in the same.
Oh their ancestors? Oh,.. good that you're telling me that. I thought it happened like in 2014. /facedesk Who we now know as Palestinians. According to my source. Thanks for playing. But cultural and linguistically are totally not the same. Same with Jordanians and Palestinians. You yourself put up criteria, and I debunked it.
