They are just there for some minimal wage job. They aren't coming because they are seeking freedom or to be liked. And again,... that doesn't change the US trackrecord. And that is the point.

Very few are rich. Others are kicked out the hospital as good as nude in the freezing cold.

You know, if you tally up the bad points of the US and the bad points of some other nation, eventually some guy is going to tell you, "Oh yeah? Well at least there are more colour TV's in the US than your beloved shithole!"
Yes, it's logic like that that proves the US has the right to bomb the hell out of the rest of the world.

That's a very odd thing to say. What "demands" do you think he's making? You fail to understand that his nuclear endeavours are solely for the purpose of standing his ground against the demands made by the US.
Refusing to act against what? You think he is bluffing about his willingness to defend himself? You really don't get it.
Threats? My oh my, you are lost.

Is North Korea going to nuke the United States? No. That's not why the Americans are casting threats.

None here seem to realize the gravity of the acquisition of nuclear weapons capability, particularly by countries hostile to the United States. It limits our options, so we will push back.

I also understand why other countries want nuclear weapons.

No moralization necessary to understand this situation. The United States isn't an evil country bent on destroying North Korea for no reason, and the North Koreans have no intention of nuking LA. But simple game theory considerations drive these countries closer and closer to war.

For the record, I do think that the North Koreans are making a mistake.

And the United Nations signed an armistice. So we aren't at war with North Korea any more.

Because the United States is liable to go to war, regardless.

And if the US goes to war, the North Koreans lose it all.

If the United States doesn't go to war will still face difficult sanctions for a generation at least.

Push back against the development of advanced weapons technologies. Thought I made that clear.

Why exactly do they "need to be dealt with now"? Do you think North Korea is going to launch a pointless suicide attack on America for no reason?

Also made that clear. Limits our options, expands theirs. The United States has been uneasy when even allies develop nuclear capabilities.

Nonsense. He holds the world hostage. What he demands is economic tribute. Trade, infrastructure. Its essentially a stick up. Pay me or I nuke you.

    I suggest we ignore him.

NK stated that they would react IF attacked by the US. NK have not threatened to strike first

Sure...in fact probably since 1953?!? NK didn't have "nukes" then, but had China as the neighbor.

Limits your options? Are you out of your mind? The US has a gazillion weapons of mass destruction. You have no right to talk about someone else's armory. It is that sort of attitude that makes people side against you.
What a fantasy! All Kim said was "back off or else." Damned fair of him if you ask me. Just try your WMD scare with him and he (unlike Saddam Hussein) will give you a taste of your own medicine.
