Rumors have swirled that Bannon, while in the White House, was responsible for some of the most damaging leaks about Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner — including one about Kushner's meeting in December 2016 with the CEO of a sanctioned Russian bank.

Bannon was also one of the officials Trump Jr. emailed about his repeated contacts with WikiLeaks in September 2016, according to documents obtained by The Atlantic.

I know he wasn't in the infamous Trump Tower meeting, but there is no way this guy doesn't have something of value to offer Mueller... The question is, can Mueller pin anything on Bannon, or will it be entirely voluntary?

Also interesting that this news comes out on the same day Bannon is testifying to the House Intelligence Committee, performing their completely unnecessary Russian investigation...

According to Wolff's book, Bannon still supports Trump but HATES his family. For him, Trump is a convenient fool and tool - someone who is willfully ignorant, not that bright, and easily malleable; a perfect puppet president.

This could get pretty interesting.

 

You can rest assured that the GOP controlled committees will baulk at releasing Bannon's testimony and the GJ testimony will be sealed until SC Mueller is good and ready to indict his long list.

My OP doesn't mention Trump - Trump Jr, Trump son-in-law and Trump Tower, yes, but not Trump... Trump has not been officially connected to Russian election interference to date... Don't jump the gun.... But to answer your question, yeah, I believe there could be something direct between Trump and Russia, but much more likely between others on his behalf and Russia...

Don't believe this is a story the 'left is churning out'.. A subpoena of somebody of Bannon's magnitude to Trump is news, not left opinion... sorry...
