Have no idea where do you get this scrap? Why Dugin is "prokremlin guy", "elite" and so on? @goody is sure Dugin opens the door of Putin's office with his leg. Where? Where?? Where do you get this fuc*ng BS? Dugin was fired from Moscow State University after his emotional call to kill Ukrainians responsible for mass murder in Odessa. Some people registered the petition on change.org to dismiss Dugin and the university administration fired him.
No russian is ever going to admit that their president is a criminal, because blind nationalism. Nation of blind people...
Putin is the strongest political leader of the latest time at least. He is far from finishing his carreer and I wouldn't call him the greatest, but he managed to stop the hard times in Russia and returned the country to the development path. All the charges to Putin are coming mainly from abroad, which is understandable. I don't see anything criminal in Putin's activities. His latest military strikes were accustomed by western aggression. The Westerners thought that Russians are vanquishing from the world which never happened. This is the main motivator for calling Putin a criminal. I see that he is a liberal democrat with an authoritarian type of managing projects. He is surely not a nationalist even by rhetorics. If you compare his speeches with any western leaders you will find less right rhetorics than with any of western colleagues. Your view is influenced by propaganda. It divides everything into good and evil and since 'nationalism' nowadays is marked 'evil' it stuck to Putin. There is no other reason for that. Putin is building bridges and not walls. He is trying to open Russia, while the rest try to close it with a new iron curtain.
Terrorism was never really a huge threat except in the minds of soft people and the few directly affected. 911 was about the best they could do. That took down a couple buildings and a few thousand people. Compare that to a real war. It's nothing. Like one small battle. It was just shocking in who died and how unexpected it was. Russiophobia is pretty simple. They compete for power and influence and do not have the same values. It's the timeless recipe of conflict.
So when America 'competes for power and influence' it's patriotism, but when Russia does the same it's 'a timeless recipe of conflict.'? Yes, I can see how that might work!
Nobody ever accused me of being a patriot before. I think both countries have done a lot of wrong to the world.
America generally (not always) gets into conflicts at request, to prevent atrocity, to stop invasion or to be of assistance. Most other nations have been the invaders and committed the atrocities. America does not take the lands they war in.
Well I can think of many things the US has done wrong to the world - in fact when did they do anything right? Conversely I can't think of anything Russia is blameworthy for? Would you like to give me an example?
The level of bias you project is so obvious as to be a troll, and the list of Russian invasions or incursions is extensive.
It's a coincidence you should say that, especially as I'd only just finished reading the OP of a Striped Horse thread . . . here, read it and weep . . . http://www.politicalforum.com/index...after-all-these-years.526753/#post-1068720230
I do when you interfere without being asked, then make everything even worse that it was before - and you do that every bloody time you poke your nose in into the affairs of other countries in the arrogant belief you know what's best for them. You quite obviously don't! So keep the **** out unless you're invited in.
Yes, Russians admit facts only. Really? As I understand only you can see. And what did you see in your life? Just hamburgers?
Since you are butting into US defence policy questions it is you who should stay out of our decision making debate You want to tell America what to do and you have no right
Oh, it seems to be a morning of bigotry - that's the second post aimed at me by a bigot in as many minutes.
I’m a bigot because I dont accept your right to tell me what Americas defence policy should be? If so then the term has no meaning In America you dont pay taxes, you dont vote, and you dont matter
Little local difficulties, the nuances of which neither you nor I understand. They probably happened because of jihadist infiltration which needed to be crushed. That wasn't Russia, it was the USSR. No, you'd better stop before you lose all of your credibility!
It's breath-taking arrogance like that which makes your country so universally loathed. I'm even beginning to loathe you myself.
Considering the source I dont feel bad being loathed by you You attack our defence leadership for its decision to recognize russia and china as military threads and prepare our defeces toward a possible war with them I guess if you are a russian interloper that might bother you but its really none of your business
Does not the undeniable fact that everything, and I mean everything your military gets involved in goes disastrously pear-shaped - from Vietnam thru Cuba to Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and now you're trying to screw up Syria. Does not that non-stop record of failures tell you something about your wunnerful country? 'America, right or wrong'? Yeah, tell me about it!
