They probably acquire the equivalent of a 2nd or 3rd grade education after 12 years, having been taught that ALL benefits come from government, and to look for the candidates with a capital letter 'D' when they vote.
Poverty methodologies are typically beyond right wingers. You get 'high powered' comment like "we is richer than Somalia". There is no understanding of the difference between absolute and relative measures (where we either fix or allow a flexible threshold). Shame really. Listening to right wing grunt is a little tedious...
No one taught them to move out of the way of pepperspray. That class cost too much, so the poor didn't take it. Comedy moments in school I sat in on detention. Arguementative student explains to the School Beef that school is free. School Beef gives very shouty maturity lecture. I didn't correct him. Listening to a lefty try and explain how school isn't free was quite a laugh. He got the shouty part right; Lol But never quite made the connection with taxes their parents were paying and his own paycheck. Hahaha. Tales from leftyland.
You forgot content. Why do you think right wingers have such a low level understanding of poverty analysis?
I don't know about right wingers. But I do see calls for violence against peaceful people. It's gross.
Again, zero content. Let's help you along. There are arguably two core factors. First, there is of course simple ignorance (i.e. those that believe in the free market myth, leading to ludicrous supply side ideaology). Second, there are the victims of divide and conquer (e.g. those whining about immigrants when wages do not increase). This is arguably the more potent of the two. Poverty becomes a secondary issue, with blame games harvested to allow shepherding towards ideology that allows economic rents to go unchecked. It's also a breeding ground for fascism...
Again no content! The two approaches reflect the source of the ideological limitation. The fake libertarian hides from poverty analysis as they play economic make-believe. It's a simple anti intellectualism. In contrast, the divided and conquered are the herd. They hide from poverty analysis as they are corrupted by 'poverty porn', with their attitudes swayed through disinformation
Wow, yet again no content!! But the desire to use violence to dominate your fellow man comes through loud and clear. It's kind of gross.
Hmmm. Let's see is it because we've all actually been poor. or is it because we've travelled the world and discovered no matter how poor we've been, other people are considerably more poor. How I remember just those couple of years ago when I was in a period of starvation so I could afford Christmas presents, or those early childhood days when we all bathed in our kitchen sink. How my friends all laugh at me because I live in an unheated home. My toilet froze last week. Hahaha. Those heady heady times in the 70's when my parents couldn't afford to buy me clothes and shoes. Those good old lefty ran times, when unions went on strike and old people died of hyptohermia. When the railways didn't run and nor did the buses. When businesses closed because the unions turned the electricity off from day to day. Cut off the coal. And to this day my families most prized possessions are cutlery recovered from the town dump. Yes if only I could detect poverty. Transylvania. Mexico. I've seen women rent their children to lorry drivers. That looked like poverty to me. I've seen people who have crippled their children to earn more begging money. I call that poverty. What have you got? Some statistics from the internet? Sod off. Go suck Jeremy Corbyn.
If you cant actually respond to the comments made, then just say so. This is about the inability of right wingers to embed poverty within their approach. There is no reference to violence in that. Indeed, in terms of political economy, we have a range of approaches based on increasing choice: from social democratic analysis into feminism to anarchist analysis into avoiding the power of the state. That range maintains interest into poverty analysis as it's required to fully disclose their economic approach into equity and efficiency.
Your continued failure to make relevant comment to the post made is acknowledged. There is always debate over the appropriate poverty methodology. I'd go with a hybrid of absolute and consensus approaches, using that to avoid the ad hoc decisions of the poverty researcher. However, you need to both with poverty analysis to be part of the debate.
But you haven't yet explained how it is that you are superior to your fellow man, such that you can command him what to do.
I have made no mention of coercion, so you continue to deliberately make irrelevant comment. I have, mind you, provided an exaplantion for why right wingers will make backward comment over poverty analysis. Which is the most dangerous? That's a difficult one. Britain, for example, achieved record child poverty rates due to the ideological limitation of supply siders. However, it's the poverty porn driven that enabled the austerity agenda which destroyed public good provision.
Actually I don't. I believe in reducing state power and celebrating democracy in the workplace. The knock-on effect from having such a weak understanding of poverty analysis is that you ensure an economic position incapable.of understanding economic outcome. That arguably explains why you aren't able to successfully apply economic comment in your argument.
Excellent. I also advocate totally eliminating state power. It looks like we're on the same side after all.
Nope. Fake libertarianism does not eliminate state power. It enables rent seekers to run amok. That's the ironic aspect of the nature of the state: it's only left wing political economy which is truly focused on controlling state coercion.
Are you telling me what I think? As I said in my previous post, I favor the complete elimination of the state. I thought that you and I were on the same page here. Are you now saying that you are superior to your fellow man?
