It is not up to me to accept or not. As a Qualified "Retired" LEO, I do not have Rights to firearms, only allowed within the framework of the law. Nobody asked what I think about it, it was not put to a Vote recently either.
you're a damn citizen of the USA, its your responsibility to speak out when laws are unjust. now, do you accept permanent punishment for felony tax evasion and stealing a car?
Mostly car theft is prosecuted as Misdemeanor misuse of a vehicle now, except chop shops and organized car theft rings under RICO statutes. Non violent White collar crimes, not involving firearms, such as Tax evasion, of various forms, is indeed a bar to firearms ownership. I may not agree with permanent punishment or not being able to defend oneself or go hunting, Howsoever, this was decided long ago by higher authorities.
bwaaaak its a form Bwaaaak no it isn't Bwaaak its a form find another line-that one is both false and silly
he is wed to supporting anything that harasses honest gun owners. the facade he throws up to defend stupid laws is patently specious
thats really silly. I believe people should have freedom to travel-but not those locked up for violent felonies.
my favorite is this Gun control works in Japan and England But they have gun bans I am against gun bans But the reason why it works is mainly due to years of gun bans But I oppose gun bans-don't you dare call me a gun banner But without gun bans, would their crime be so Low Gun control works in Japan and England what part of it does Silence
you are not being truthful again. How many times have you been corrected about this nonsense you spew. You constantly support foreign and state governments that ban guns then have a hissy fit when someone suggests you support gun bans
I have another one. Suicides, Japan has off the charts suicide, involving young people, teens in the spring time of youth, no guns mind, yet he claims limiting guns or access to guns or gun control or waiting periods, reduce suicide ? So why does Japan have zero suicides ? If in Australia Mass Shootings went to zero thanks to Gun Control, should not suicide rates also follow ?? In many Countries, suicides by hanging are common, because guns are uncommon. Robin Williams sadly died by hanging. He was Anti Gun coincidentally.
Yes. And a gazillion suicide deaths of teens in the flower of youth. But they did not use GUNS ! Do you not care why so many children in Japan choose to commit suicide and die ? Humanium article; https://www.humanium.org/en/child-suicide-in-japan-the-leading-cause-of-death-in-children/ Japan has one of the highest suicide rates. A World Health Organization report shows it is actually 60 per cent higher than the global average (Lu, 2015). The country counts an average of 70 daily suicides and alarmingly children are also affected by this problem (ibid.). Since 2014, suicide has become Japan’s leading cause of death in children aged 10-19 (Oi, 2015) and the rate of child suicide keeps rising despite the decreasing overall suicide rate (Whitman, 2015)! The main reasons for child suicide are school-related issues such as demanding school work or bullying. ********************** 70 sucides a Day, Children no less, killing themselves ! No guns used. Not killed by someone, although bullying may be murder in a sense.
What will prevent the legal buyer from simply claiming that the firearm they sold was stolen, thus alleviating them of any wrongdoing, even if it was registered to them? The only other individual who will know what transpired is the prohibited individual, and their word holds no credibility. Even if their word was credible, which it is not, admitting to purchasing the firearm would be self-incrimination to committing yet another felony. This discussion has been had numerous times before.
