I'm going to assume you mean appropriating the culture of a people, since literally appropriating people would be something approaching Borg Assimilation. Or kidnapping/taking hostages, which is done quite a bit.

So, perhaps you should Google Rachel Dolezal. A good place to start would be HERE. Or how about HERE where you have more than a few actual African-Americans flat-out calling what she did cultural appropriation of a people - their own. Or on a bit of a tangent you can look up what Stolen Valor is. Heck, Obama signed a bill in 2013 making it a crime to profit financially by lying about military service. Meanwhile, Warren is lying and profiting about being a Native American.

And you're a person who bases his online persona on a former President so what exactly is your point? Furthermore, your argument about people being unable to appropriate a culture was proven false with the above links. Feel like disagreeing with their assessment of Dolezal? Good luck with that. Yup, cultural appropriation isn't a real crime and was made up by Hollywood, I am opposed to all racial requirements for education and employment, and don't mind if people say what they want to say whether they have evidence or not.

I would think that there are probably multiple definitions of race as defined by anthropology, law, etc. but since we are talking about someone who holds a Government office I think we must consider the U.S. Government's definition of race. I looked up the OMB definition of Indian and came up with this: "American Indian or Alaska Native – A person having origins in any of the original peoples of North and South America (including Central America) and who maintains tribal affiliation or community attachment." Please note that there is no mention in this definition whatsoever of self-identification.

Of course in the absence of evidence there is always the looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks, and has webbed feet approach. In other words Warren is (drum roll.......) a white woman.

The rank and file Native American didn't know about this by and large. The tribal leadership had turned a blind eye because it was leverage against a sitting senator and potential president. Trump made it national news and the tribal membership woke up and started asking questions so the tribal leadership had to start asking questions of Warren. Warren has been on an apology tour ever since. She is done as a potential candidate now all thanks to a single Trump tweet.

Why should he? He hasn't made any claims about his wealth other than "I am amazing" "I am amazingly wealthy" "I am stupendously amazing and wealthy and successful" Warren claimed Indian heritage specifically to garner favor at a college and in politics.

The notion of a President releasing their tax forms or even their education merits is idiotic and needs to be stopped. Obama was right not to release his grades and Trump is right not to release his tax forms.

No doubt you gave criticism on people that criticized trump for overfeeding fish. Well this is no different. Its a trump up non story that only is in the media because certain people are pushing it to damage (or try to damage) Warren.
