It isn't about bullying private companies. It is about ensuring that workers receive the value of their labour. Anything else is acceptance of theft
Really? I depend on Southern Rail of all and unlike The Darkness, I have rights to complain about Southern Fail who do serve me. The Darkness are posers and Southern Rail are crippled by ASLEF and RMT and as a commuter was pushed back to school a bus ride 2 miles away for it last summer because of no trains to work. Damn Labour messing with my train because they lost the election aggravates you when you can't go to work. When I managed to get a train to work, it was disheartening to see at the end of the day, no train home, reduced service; Wait an hour, industrial action. Became a Conservative that summer and went back to Business School.
Given the state of our rail service and the record cost levels, couldn't you think of a better example? The Conservatives are clueless about business. In terms of Economic Rent Shagfest 101, they're MBA times PhD
How about, Labour lose the election, and punish the people who need Southern Rail to get to work? How... RMT and ASLEF Why? Well, according to my MP I raised the matter with, it's because the Transport Secretary, According to the Transport Secretary http://www.cityam.com/267856/southern-rail-transport-secretary-accuses-labour-stoking-up Summer of Choas, Jeremy Corbyn hates the public and only cares for anarchy, handing us back to Brussels, occupying public land during Brexit to voice his internal Labour Party issue and this week, siding with the Russians.
This isn't a coherent comment. Given how our rail system is neither efficient or cheap, I appreciate your need to try incoherency.
I think the issue is timescales...that highlights how the countries have changed... I guess you could take some of these African pisspot countries which seem to go backwards but generally the rest of the world has forged ahead...for better or worse
We often ignore our part in destroying African economic opportunity. We allow our corporations to run amok and they then ensure trade actually makes Africans worse off. Of course there is value in ignoring it. Much better to just give a few quid to a tin pot charity event. Much better to shed a tear as we watch some famous person blubbering about the poor simple Africans (before they retire to their million plus house). Makes us feel all warm inside.
No, who wants a society that reflects merit. Imagine a society without child poverty, where opportunities abound? Crikey, even the Thatcherite Blair managed to try...
I am an individual - The world is full of ****s telling me how to live and I have. Both groups are as pointless, worthless and appalling as each other. Neither group represents that way i think by even 1% and I've found people of both groups to be as petty, spiteful and cheap and nasty as each other. 2 different sides of the same dumb f##k coin. Don't worry mate, as a member of #noneoftheabove, i'm used to having my opinions dismissed.
You can change that you know? Start by including political economic content in your argument. It will at least then come across as reasoned and celebrate pluralist perspectives.
Tut tut! Rather than referring to the abundant literature on socialism, you go for personal attack attempt...
