The Deep State is Trump's ready made excuse for the knuckle draggers to hold like a security blanket as Trump's corruption and incompetence continues to be obvious and self destructive.

Trump's failures can be easily dismissed as the fault of an imaginary secret conspiracy.

Of course, this is the same conspiracy that I've been hearing about since the John Birch Society. The names and labels change every few years, but the basic idea is the same.

We know that both Deep State and "the Swamp" are nothing more than focus group tested slogans.

So, here's a challenge.

Define the Deep State. Tell us exactly what it is. Tell us who controls it. Be detailed. Empty waving the George Soros bogey man is not sufficient. If you're going to assert that the Deep State rules the world, you should be able to describe its basic structure, and who its key players are.

We have never had trouble identifying the major players and nodes of influence in the right wing universe. You should be able to do the same.

Do the same for "the Swamp". We hear you folks use that slogan all the time, without definition or fact.

Take your time. And be prepared to document your claims.
