I didn't say any such thing, this is just a case of brain flatulence, horrible comprehension and the resulting bullshit that comes from the combination of the two. Although, unwittingly I'm sure, this is the type of bass aachward fact interpretation I have posted to in this thread :) Hardly matter how anything is presented in the public forum, there will always be that certain group that will undoubtedly read about one thing and process that in to some off the wall nonsense that only they interpreted!

That myopic description leaves out a few things you apparently have never heard of.............or more likely have selectively forgotten. Should I jog your memory?

Sorry, I keep forgetting, you guys don't care about truthfulness, decency, morality, knowledge, consistency, stability, all the qualities that make a good prez.

And now there's an unverified claim that Linked in is doing so, also.

Brill and Crovitz Announce Launch of NewsGuard to Fight Fake News
By Fall, NewsGuard Will Begin Providing Online Users with Reliability Ratings and ‘Nutrition Label’ Write-Ups for 7,500 News and Information Websites Used and Shared by U.S. Consumers

(NEW YORK, March 5, 2018) Longtime journalists and media entrepreneurs Steven Brill and Gordon Crovitz today announced that they have raised $6 million to launch NewsGuard, which will address the fake news crisis by hiring dozens of trained journalists as analysts to review the 7,500 news and information websites most accessed and shared in the United States, in time for the mid-term elections in November.

These sites account for 98% of the news articles read and shared in the English language online in the United States. These reliability ratings, along with “nutrition label” write-ups of each of the 7,500 news sources, will be licensed to social media platforms and online search companies, as well as provided to interested consumers directly.

The ratings –- Green, Yellow, or Red –- will be derived in a process that will be completely transparent and accountable. NewsGuard will launch in the U.S. and then expand to other countries.

The lead investor, among a group of 18 investors, is Publicis Groupe, one of the world’s leading ad agency holding companies.

“Our goal is to help solve this problem now by using human beings—trained, experienced journalists—who will operate under a transparent, accountable process to apply basic common sense to a growing scourge that clearly cannot be solved by algorithms,” explained Brill, the author of two best-selling books, who has won multiple National Magazine awards and, among other journalism enterprises, founded The American Lawyer, Court TV, and Brill’s Content magazine.

“We are not going to make granular judgments about political leanings, or which of two legitimate news sites—Buzzfeed News or the Boston Globe, for example—produces more reliable journalism,” added Crovitz, a longtime writer, editor, and columnist for The Wall Street Journal editorial page and the former publisher of the Journal. “But we will tell readers the Denver Post is a real newspaper and that the Denver Guardian exists only as a purveyor of fake news.” Similarly, a site that purports to report all sides of a controversial issue will get a Yellow if it is financed—but with no disclosure—by a trade association, government, or politician, because while it is not necessarily “fake news,” it is content whose creator failed to disclose self-interest. Purveyors of consistently and intentionally false information or propaganda will be rated Red.

“In addition to alerting people to fake news,” Crovitz said, “one of our key goals is to help consumers, including young people, know when to take news from certain sites with a grain of salt. Brands convey important information about sources of news, but unlike in the days of newsstands, brands don’t stand out in social media feeds or search results.”

“For us, NewsGuard is highly appealing because it is a concrete, actionable answer to our clients’ concerns – another layer of protection for them,” said Publicis Groupe Chairman Maurice Levy. “Advertisers care about the quality and credibility of the brands they support, and we are delighted to be the lead investor in NewsGuard as a key part of the solution to the crisis of fake news.”

“The way news is displayed online, especially in social media, makes all news brands—both legitimate and fake—look the same,” said Alberto Ibargüen, president of the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, which is also an investor in NewsGuard. “NewsGuard will help restore the value of legitimate news by giving readers online more information about the sources they use, or decide not to use.”

Good Lord! You aren't taking him home to meet the family. Those are all fine qualities in a person but all I care about, all anyone should care about, is the policies the President promotes through the federal agencies and foreign policy.

(Although I do suspect foreign policy is dictated by powers other than the president, fwiw)

In a normal circumstance I would agree. But not when the prez lies about everything.......all the time.........is immoral, lacks policy knowledge, is dangerously erratic, and emotionally unstable.

    Again ... Name the Lie.
I could very easily make the case that President Obama never
told the God's Honest Truth ... Once ... while in the White House.
Maybe at best a few times before. But don't lay money on it.

I prefer to do my own due diligence. I don't need some unknown entity to decide whatt is fake and what is not fake.

Anyone that trusts others to be the gatekeeper to all truth is a damned fool.

I don't think anyone denies there are an ample number of gullible nitwits ready to pull on their MAGA hats and go see see a demagogue in action. But then con men rarely have a shortage of marks attending their events. I assume you are familiar with Elmer Gantry.

Fine and dandy. But you have to prove that.Have evidence.
Judge Judy would spend about 3 minutes with yer type.
Then shut the case down. You brought No Evidence.
    Does any of this sink-in.

Those are all subjective judgements, they could apply to any past President or past presidential candidate, yes, Hillary Clinton comes to mind.

    Let's roll the highlight reel.

Trump responded in Syria to alleged chemical attacks as one would have expected Obama to have responded. After all, chemical weapons were Obama's justification for even be I g in Syria.

Trump responded exactly as Obama did in regards to North Korea's threats. In addition, apparently, Trump has been able to broker a deal with talks with North Korea to at least attempt a diplomatic resolution. This is something Obama was either incapable or unwilling to achieve.

Trump's Travel ban on Middle Eastern countries was very similar to Obama's travel ban.

Trump's words about illegal immigrants was not racist, it was the truth, most, but not all illegal immigrants are of strong moral character. Obama deported over 2 million illegals, mostly Hispanic, during his two terms.

Trump was correct in condemning both sides in the Charlottesville violence, I doubt Obama would have done the same. But that is speculation on my part.

Both Obama and Trump tried to improve relations with Russia, one was given a Nobel Peace Prize the other was called a traitor.

BINGO! That is what is important here. Reliance on others to formulate OUR opinions is how Hitler came to power, via Joseph Goebbels' propaganda "ministry". The left is on its way toward fascism as the media reaches all time lows of TRUST by the people. There's no better way to "restore" media trust than another leftist propaganda machine telling us what the "truth" is.

And yet the results were the same so you have no point to win there
It is unknown, and unlikely that this administration brokered any part of the (maybe) upcoming NK talks. Trump has already laid the groundwork that he will walk away while NK has and will retain their weapons.
But Obama's was only for 6 months
    No, no he was not.
There is a difference between trying to improve relations and going out of your way to do nothing.

So what are you saying then? Are you saying that all fact checking sites are left leaning, Soros bought, progressive, socialist propaganda sites that make you glad there are conservative sites that are able to tell the truth because only they can see past all the leftist propaganda the MSM spouts. Is that what you're saying because other than grade school insults I don't see anything of any substance in your posts. Just counterpunching with insults and no meat.

Obama got huge crowds wherever he went but he went places to do his job and not just to have people answer his plea to tell him how much they love him. The election is over.

Name "THE" lie? How about this. I picked it (from dozens of sites) because I thought it was amusing.
