By ending the Iran Nuke deal? They get to restart their nuke program since the deal is done... But what do we get?
I don't know about "we" , but US imperialism gets the opportunity to bomb the he'll out of Iran. That's been the goal before, during, and after the Iran nuclear agreement.
We got them to reduce centrifuges by 15.000 You know the things you need to enrich uranium to make a bomb. We got them to reduce their stockpile of enriched uranium 98% to 660 pounds. We got them to ship the majority (20 tonnes) of heavy water to the US. We increased the time it would take them to produce a bomb. Not much I guess. What do you think?
No, we don't get to do any of that because they refuse to allow us to inspect where we want to inspect.
Hopefully the political cover to do what we should've done years ago and attack Iran. Something President Bush should've done before he left office. Unfortunately the Secretary of Defense prevented it.
This is rather old news, but things haven't changed. http://www.latimes.com/world/asia/la-fg-iran-nuclear-20170830-story.html
http://www.latimes.com/world/asia/la-fg-iran-nuclear-20170830-story.html It's complicated but we rely on out intel right now with the possibility of renewing sanctions...as opposed to what exactly?
diplomacy- the art of saying "nice doggie"...until you find a rock. We've said "nice doggie" long enough.
The US needs this deal to hold up, so Iran knows they can fight a proxy war with Saudi Arabia in Yemen without it escalating into another US led all out war in the Middle East. So the US is taking the alternative route: refuel Saudi planes as they indiscriminately bomb Yemenis. The situation is escalating. In my view we will be facing a declaration of war between Iran and SA within 10 years.
So it is our best interest to keep this deal alive and prevent Iran from restarting their nuke program...and maybe trying to solve the issues between SA and Iran
As has been shown in previous posts, we (global community) are not allowed to inspect all places, which means we have no proof at all that they haven't restarted their nuclear program. Given this information I find it hard to believe you are sticking to this line. If we're (global community) able to inspect ALL areas then you could solidly make this claim, until that happens though you really can't. Which means we are taking their word for it only and we have history of how well countries keep promises.
If you break the deal you will have zero access to anywhere in Iran. Aside from that, you are wrong anyway. Any site can be inspected if there is sufficient proof to suspect a site maybe carrying out nuclear weapon research and that proof is determined by the 6 countries involved in the agreement, not Iran
