The "Russian collusion" narrative is the only "conspiracy theory" in US history that has its own special prosecutor. It's also the only "conspiracy theory" in US history that has support from virtually every major media outlet. That makes it the biggest "conspiracy theory" of all time. Even the US taxpayer has been bilked out of millions of dollars in order to pay for the investigation into this "conspiracy theory". Stories related to this "conspiracy theory" make regular appearances in this forum's Current Events section. The only difference between this "conspiracy theory" and others is that this "conspiracy theory" tends to support the establishment's agenda, whereas the others tend to challenge it. So if a "conspiracy theory" is promoted by the elites, then it will be taken seriously. But if a "conspiracy theory" is critical of the elites, then it will be viewed as "kooky" or some variation thereof.

I mean, "collusion" isn't even defined by the law, let alone a crime. That means Mueller is investigating something that isn't even illegal, and he's doing it all on the taxpayer dime. Amazing!

If Mueller does not find anything concrete then you will be almost correct. I think the JFK thing may still be the biggest

I agree! Until there is actual proof that Trump colluded with Russia, any thread about "Russian collusion" should be sent to the conspiracy theory subforum with all the other conspiracy theories. There is no reason to give this particular conspiracy theory special treatment. I would strongly advise my fellow members to report these conspiracy theories to the MODS, so that they may be handled appropriately.

But the JFK thing never got its own special prosecutor paid for by taxpayers. That puts it on an entirely new level as far as conspiracy theories go.

And unlike the JFK thing, there is absolutely no evidence that Trump colluded with the Russians. Literally none. It's just a bunch of allegations being made by Trump's political enemies, allegations that carry no weight at all.

Yea, but the Warren Commission was an attempt to cover up a conspiracy, not to invent one where none existed.

The thing with the big conspiracies is that they aren't investigated, they are covered up.

That's what makes them bigger than this.

Take the fake moon landing, the government wouldn't even entertain the thought that something was wrong there.

And then you have Whitewater. Ken Star appointed special prosecutor to investigate.

4 years and scores of millions later, the whole thing comes down to a blow job.

    Fake moon landing?

It would interesting to see the percentage of people who think moon landings were faked are donald supporters. I bet its high but that is just speculation.

Hillary was promised the nomination and the presidency, and the only collusion that occurred during the 2016 presidential race came from the highest levels within the Democrat Machine, and was designed and perpetrated to keep those promises.

when the conspirators failed, there had to be an excuse...an explanation...a reason that did not involve their incompetence, or, most importantly, their disturbing ideology.

enter: OH MY GOD, NO POSSIBLE WAY TRUMP GETS BY OUR CAREFULLY CONSTRUCTED GAUNTLET... and insurance policies...HE MUST HAVE HAD HELP.....FROM....FROM....

That's definitely part of it. But it fits into the larger whole of US imperialism. Basically, they were able to kill two birds with one stone. Discredit the Trump presidency among idiots while instigating a new cold war with Russia. All of this is serving the corporate interests, especially bankers and arms manufactures, who essentially own the US government.

Yes, tell us all about Whitewater, I'll bet these are just some people from Clinton's neighborhood, right?.

    Convictions
The Clintons were never charged with any crime. Fifteen other persons were convicted of more than 40 crimes, including Jim Guy Tucker, who was removed from office.[44]

    • Jim Guy Tucker: Governor of Arkansas at the time, removed from office (fraud, 3 counts)
    • John Haley: attorney for Jim Guy Tucker (tax evasion)
    • William J. Marks, Sr.: Jim Guy Tucker's business partner (conspiracy)
    • Stephen Smith: former Governor Clinton aide (conspiracy to misapply funds). Bill Clinton pardoned.
    • Webster Hubbell: Clinton political supporter; U.S. Associate Attorney General; Rose Law Firm partner (embezzlement, fraud)
    • Jim McDougal: banker, Clinton political supporter: (18 felonies, varied)
    • Susan McDougal: Clinton political supporter (multiple frauds). Bill Clinton pardoned.
    • David Hale: banker, self-proclaimed Clinton political supporter: (conspiracy, fraud)
    • Neal Ainley: Perry County Bank president (embezzled bank funds for Clinton campaign)
    • Chris Wade: Whitewater real estate broker (multiple loan fraud). Bill Clinton pardoned.
    • Larry Kuca: Madison real estate agent (multiple loan fraud)
    • Robert W. Palmer: Madison appraiser (conspiracy). Bill Clinton pardoned.
    • John Latham: Madison Bank CEO (bank fraud)
    • Eugene Fitzhugh: Whitewater defendant (multiple bribery)
    • Charles Matthews: Whitewater defendant (bribery)

David Hale, the key witness against President Clinton in Starr's Whitewater investigation, alleged in November 1992 that Clinton, while governor of Arkansas, pressured him to provide an illegal $300,000 loan to Susan McDougal, the partner of the Clintons in the Whitewater deal.[3]

McDougal refused to answer any questions while under oath, leading to her being imprisoned by the judge for civil contempt of court for the maximum 18 months, including eight months in isolation. Starr's subsequent indictment of McDougal for criminal contempt of court charges resulted in a jury hung 7-5, in favor of acquittal.

Kenneth Starr's successor as Independent Counsel, Robert Ray, released a report in September 2000, that stated "This office determined that the evidence was insufficient to prove to a jury beyond a reasonable doubt that either President or Mrs. Clinton knowingly participated in any criminal conduct."[24] Nevertheless, Ray criticized the White House saying that delays in the production of evidence and "unmeritorious litigation" by the president's lawyers severely impeded the investigation's progress, leading to a total cost of nearly $60 million. Ray's report effectively closed the Whitewater investigation.

Which contradicts my statements not one iota. With $60 million spent on investigating the Clintons over 5 years, all Starr could come up with was a blow job.

And a donald supporter has no standing to criticize a Democrat over producing documents.

Where are those tax returns donald repeatedly told us he's produce?

May be. But we know donald didn't produce them like he repeatedly said he would.

Good Grief, 15 friends and business associates of the Clintons were convicted of crimes and you think all they came up with was a blowjob?

:roflol: no one can compare Trumps tax returns (which the IRS already has) to the years of missing billing records, deleted emails, bleach bit hard drives and smashed cell phones of the Clinton family.

    I can
Trumps tax returns (which the IRS already has) Yes, the super rich always have "real" tax returns. Right. If they (the IRS) has them please provide where and when Trump said they do.
years of missing billing records, deleted emails, bleach bit hard drives and smashed cell phones With how many Republican investigations that came up with nothing? You have nothing but conspiracy theories.

Our mods still mostly default to the leftist setting when it comes to 'interpreting' the posting rules. To all good leftists this is not a conspiracy it is a facts-based crime that will set them free of EVIL Trump. Do not expect this forum system's mods to rain on THAT particular parade.
