Racism is when you consider one race not as good as another. Wanting to date someone of your own race has nothing to do with racism, it has to do with preferences. Most people like to marry and date people who are like them. Liberals can make racism out of anything and they try to.

You’re misrepresenting the position of the article of course but even with your hyper-rhetoric, the two statements aren’t mutually exclusive. Put simply, you being racist in your private life is none of my business but you’d still be racist.

The point or the article isn’t about the individuals you actually have sex with (or don’t), it’s about statements that entire racial groups aren’t appealing to you (or in general), which is racism by definition and often not true. If you could cut though the implicit racism, I’ve absolutely no doubt that for most of the people who say this, it would be possible to find people of their rejected racial groups they actually find attractive and appealing. The whole point of discrimination is that it attributes entire groups with singular characteristics and we all know that in pretty much every example, there will be a massive range of exceptions and conditions.

Definitively stating an entire race isn’t as physically or romantically appealing is saying they’re inferior. Anyway, I was working on a wider definition of treating an entire group differently on the basis of irrelevant, overly generalised or misrepresented characteristics.

Without an admission of such in some form or another from the specific person in question, it would be pretty hard to prove racism is a factor in that kind of decision. For some I'm sure it is racism, but pinning down what percentage of folks that applies to is pretty much impossible. So practically, it's useless. And lets not forget that there are black people who only date white folks, and vice versa.

Nope, I think this is just folks taking a good thing(calling out racism) and pushing it so far to the extreme that it's divorced from reality.
