The political status quo has been selling out the American middle class to foreign elites for many decades. That’s why Donald Trump prevailed; it had nothing to do with monster Russians or the cartoonish argument that Boris and Natasha conspired with Trump to steal the election. The United States cannot be attacked from the outside; it’s too powerful. It must be infiltrated and destroyed from the inside out. That’s what’s behind sanctuary cities and parades of illegal immigrants dragging children as innocent human shields used for bait to enrage the lowest common denominator wearing the propaganda goggles of the information-medicated masses. The status quo sees victory as the slow, deliberate process of poisoning the pond to kill off the middle class-it’s weaponized cultural depravity aided and abetted by Mexico and its perfect geographical high ground on a massive border. Trump got elected because he championed the middle class, exposed the elites and promised to build a wall to stop the bleeding. The elites were taken by surprise because they were secure in the belief that the country had been duly indoctrinated not to see what was happening. Now we see the bizarre damage control of the Mueller investigation that essentially wants to burn Trump at the stake. Legions of crazed, brainwashed urbanites armed with the state-provided pitchforks of disinformation storm the public domain clamoring for an inquisition. Trump is the Devil! He separates parents from children! They are sure of this because they saw it on late night TV while they listened to comedians. Hollywood, as any chic American knows is the final word. Consumed with the self-righteousness of entertainment-industry ignorance they attack their neighbors as fools who don’t comprehend the wonderful new propaganda of a globalist perfect world uninfected with that pesky middle class that relegated Soviet communism to a footnote in history. Their company pensions and health insurance were bargained away by the status quo as a necessary betrayal so stockholders could get rich in the world trade arena. Trump has the audacity to try to get these things back for the people. A lot of people don’t want those things back; they want Hillary Clinton in the White House as the first female president. Trump is the president because there are still people in the US able to recognize who their real enemy is. And that enemy is right here in the USA-it’s called the status quo.
Trump got elected by lying, turning Americans against each other, appealing to fear, hate, and racism, and by conning the gullible. If you believe a word he says you are a sucker beyond measure. And I voted for Reagan. I even campaigned for him. So don't give me this "you're a liberal" nonsense. Trump is an evil man and anyone who supports him is supporting evil. Reagan would find trump despicable. Reagan was a good man. Trump is evil. Trump is the enemy within. I've been saying that for over a year. He is a very sick and evil man.
I can actually partially agree with this take although it's a bit sophomore cheerleader. Donald Trump most certainly appealed to a demographic that "FEELS" like it's been ignored. Although it's debatable whether suburban white voters in traditionally manufacturing areas are really ignored considering they had been one of the most pandered to constituencies in the country. Recently (since the 80s) I think it's fair to say they have lost good amount both in economic status and political clout due to both anti unionism, global trade. This is the point at which I think too many people become intellectually lazy and either go into the assumption that the group that votes for other party is in some way morally or mentally inferior, and is being influenced by *BUM BUM BUUUHHHHH* "The Elites". I think this is where Ray kind of goes off the rail, but he certainly is not alone. When we talk about whether Trump or Russia, or "The Elites" have been manipulating people or appealing to people or brainwashing people is another one people use when they are tired of thinking, we are really just arguing semantics. Globalism, and protectionism are not doctrines that emerged in a Legion of Doom meeting on skull island. They came about as practical responses to economic reality, instinctive tribalism, and prevailing morality. Donald Trump is not the product of or the response to a conspiracy he's just the latest manifestation cult of personality politics. He saw a sentiment in the public he thought he could win with and an opposition candidate who was more interested in a coronation than an election, and he won by being a lion in a room full of boredom. Good for him. He can no more however stop globalism than the proponents of globalism aka "The Elites" (I mean at least name some people so i know who i'm talking about yeesh) can stop isolationism. Because they were created by the public not perpetrated on them. How did the good ole American worker lose their pension, and benefits? It wasn't immigration it was trade, and the reason it was trade wasn't because somebody cheated it was because the vaunted "free market" decided it would rather buy cheaper things made elsewhere than more expensive things made here. That's it folks. It doesn't require a conspiracy. It doesn't require a villain, and that's why no one believes it's the case because people discussing politics now a days want everything to a be a freakin Avengers movie. You can drag every CEO, and politician in the world to the gallows tomorrow it isn't going to make a bit of difference.Producers and distributors of goods and services are still going to try to price competitively and they are still going cut labor cost to do it. If you don't like that forget tariffs you better start working on some kind of star trek post scarcity system. As for Trump specifically look I'm more of a Bernie Sanders guy myself, but this is my 4th Republican administration at this point. I'm past considering it evil. They are all pretty much the same. The only difference with Trump is that he talks more coarsely, and is a protectionist on trade. That said I have a message for President Trump, and his supporters, and I say this not because I disagree with your philosophy or you methods although I do, but just as a matter of consistency. You are not victims of the media, you are not victims of the elites, you are not being treated unfairly in fact you may be getting off easy by virtue of the fact that whether by ignorance or genius President Trump is so utterly baffling in his decision making process, and his execution of his decisions that I don't even know what he is hoping to accomplish much less how he intends to do it. Your attempts to portray yourselves as unfairly targeted are almost as pathetic as cable news bleating about how deranged Trump is supposed to be. You guys come to the fight like freakin spartan warriors banging shields like "YA NATO is obsolete! Trade with this (crotch grab)! Aww is mommy in jail? Get out of my country if you don't want to go to jail peasants! Hey mainstream media you guys are totally irrelevant!", and then you're like "Why don't people see how great we are and want to trade with us, and man that irrelevant media is so irrelevant I'm going to talk nonstop about how mean they are to me!". What level of intellect are you operating on at this points. I know 5 years olds you could give a juice box and talk down from states like this, but yall are adults? Of course the media is going to cover you unfavorably. Of course most Latinos, and Democrats are going to be livid at a zero tolerance border policy. Of course John McCain isn't going to vote for your freakin border wall when you laugh at his face about being a POW. Of course the CIA, and FBI is going to look into your connections with Russia when you start saying stuff like NATO is obsolete, and ya Putin kills people, but so do we, and Russia might be better allies than Europe, and you are running for President. Jesus Mary, and Joseph did you honestly think most Americans agree with this stuff. Did you even agree with it before Trump said it? Did you really think you were going to just bitch slap the free world, half the population, the media, the Democrats, and a good chunk of Republicans. Then just float off on a cloud of your own hubris. The policies aren't even as good as you think they are. You're stepping on your own GDP growth which is usually the "good" thing about Republican administrations until the financial sectors go so loose they fall apart. You're making Russia, and China more dangerous by increasing both their moral cover for military expansion including into space now *facepalm*, and their capability to do so by increasing the foreign market shares as they fill in the vacuums for resources that our tariffs are creating in our own backyard, and across the pond, and the domestic political situation is ugly at best. About all you have going at the moment is low unemployment which is tied to high confidence, but confidence is only going to get you so far once the numbers set in. Oh and a business tax cut.. No one has tried that before. Anyway feel free to call me a deranged anti trump liberal. Alot of folks called me a deranged anti Bush liberal in 2002 for saying what a bad policy the Iraq war was to when 80% of the country supported it, and 4 years later I couldn't find one of them that would admit they ever thought it was a good idea. That's how fickle the public is, and it's got nothing to do with brainwashing. It's got to do with the fact that your policy is poorly thought out, and based on jingoism. Enjoy your victories.
Evidence by more support from blacks and Latinos.....oh and of course the Blue Dog Democrats that bailed on those of your kind and their elitist mentality running around calling everybody else racists.
‘Stand Down’ On Russia Interference From Susan Rice..... http://www.politicalforum.com/index...rence-from-susan-rice.535701/#post-1069243354
Trump has spent his entire life in the sewers and gutters. he is the lowest form of life to occupy the earth.
Lots of name calling and hate speech about Trump. Wash your mouth out with soap and put your brain in gear and try to be practical and intelligent. Now try telling us what it is about his policies you dislike. Are you against tax cuts? Are you against fair trade? Do you want open borders? Are you for tax payer funded abortions on demand? Do you want war with N Korea? Can you explain how the Russians helped Trump get elected?
