3. An angry US President of the USA, who can issue an immediate executive order to revoke this restaurants license.
4. The bad publicity alone will end this restaurant business by end of June 2018.

6. There maybe even price to pay for the entire state of Virginia, as millions of offended people planning vacation may just say F VIRGINIA.

I've seen stores posted sign they can refuse service to anyone for any reason, and righties on this forum support such a sign. Karma is a beotch. Go whine somewhere else.

 

Look, so long as the customers are behaving and paying, I couldn't care less who or what they are. If I were running the place, as I said, the only color or belief I have is what involves money. So turning away a paying customer seems rather dumb to be as someone whose living involves people paying me to do something; now you've just cut your profits by one person. Poor business strategy, but hey - it's his place.

Especially when it came to the Chic Fil-A thing. When gays decided to boycott the place, who really got hurt? Not the business, it ended up doing better than ever. Especially when you had plenty of footage shot by the protestors themselves showing what kind of jerks they were while the people working there were being harassed by the gay activists. Turned out it was the best thing ever for the company; the protestors being complete babies while again, plenty of footage of the employees acting like adults was great PR for CFA. They finally built one where I live after this happened and I've gone there a number of times since. Not only because the food really is good and the place is clean, but there is in some small manner the idea that it's pissing off a bunch of activists somewhere.

Now okay, while I think it's a dumb move on the part of this business owner to do so, okay - let him. But at the same time, it's also driving away any right-wing customers that might have gone there - and they're going to go elsewhere and spend their money, profits this guy won't have. The same freedom that this bonehead manager had to drive away a customer is the same freedom that other customers have in not frequenting his establishment AND is the same freedom people have in down-voting the place on Yelp. That's just the way Freedom of Expression works.
