She’s making sweeping generalizations about men. It was similar to when my brother would make sweeping generalizations about how all women played games and lied when he was having trouble finding a woman for a relationship. I would tell him it was wrong to make such sweeping generalizations and I also told him to look inward as he was the common denominator in all the relationships that didn’t work out. Once he did that and realized HIS issues he was actually able to find a keeper.

 

Anyone who persistently blames others is obviously not taking any responsibility for their own life and addressing their own shortcomings.

Successful relationships involve a willingness to compromise and put in the effort to make it work. However that means making oneself worth the effort that the other person is going to have to make and vice versa.

The OP is looking for the "perfect Prince Charming" who will overlook all of her shortcomings and just pamper her without expecting her to make any effort whatsoever. That fairy tale does not exist in the real world, never has in the past and never will either.

Has nothing to do with Obama. The ‘pu$$y’ generation started before Obama got into office. Being a high school coach since 1999 I can definitively tell you this trend started WELL before Obama. I quickly learned how different the culture was in high school regarding dealing with bullies than when I was in high school (early 80s). Actually it was my total approach, sorry it went past you. When I suggested that perhaps she was looking at the wrong side of the mirror it was all about personal introspection. Many posters have made the same observations stated somewhat differently. Without looking at the other side of the mirror your are doomed to an unhappy line of failed relationships.

Massive assumption for the win. 1st men and women don't communicate in the same way. Male networks and female networks are hugely different affairs. Women appear to play games to men because men generally communicate to share information or negotiate, and while women do that as well there are a whole host of other things involved into the bargain when women talk to each other and to men. A lot of that other stuff is things men aren't even aware of let alone understand.

My first thought when I read the op is that someone had just been through a bad breakup. And of course it would appear that most of the guys in this thread fall into one of two classes both equally shallow but for different reasons. The first group thought she was mad because she couldn't get laid. This is maleness speaking cause that's something men deal with time to time though dam few will admit it which by the way is why I put no stock whatever into the locker room braggadocio.. The others mostly leftists by the way assumed that she was launching a stereotypical sort of assault on men and thought there masculinity what they have been allowed to keep by the feminazis, was under attack, when in reality she was complaining about the last few guys she's been in relationships with. There are perhaps four to six women on this board currently she is one of two if not the only conservative. It is interesting to note hat none of the other gals have chimed in on this yet and I seriously doubt they will.

 

Holy over-analysis. All I know is she was making sweeping generalizations and that is just wrong....for anyone to do about any group of people.
