Dog Whisperer' Cesar Millan revealed he illegally crossed the US border

I always liked this guy's show and I never knew he came here illegally. The case could be made he speaks well for illegal immigrants and some of them do become productive contributor's to society but I have to wonder how you come here illegally and then get citizenship. Doesn't seem fair to those who go through proper channels and it encourages more illegals to come.

"The dog whisperer shared his story of crossing the border when he was 13. He dreamed of being "greatest dog trainer in the world" and of being on TV. His father gave him $100 and it was all he had to get across the border.

"Death is more likely than jumping it," Millan said of crossing the border. "It's not a piece of cake. I'm respectful about it. I know I broke a boundary and a rule. But it was for a dream."

This is not a new revelation.

 

This. A huge part of the problem is the backlogs. Presently, US Customs is overwhelmed with the number of applications per year. Some Right-of-center Americans suggested a temporary pause while we clear the backlogs, and I think that's a smart suggestion.

 

I like Ceasar but I don't see how he became a citizen after coming here illegally. Someone high up pull some strings or is this common? If it is it serves as a magnet for more illegal immigrants

He said he was thirteen when he violated our border. Reagan legalized 1.2 million illegals. Could he have possible have been a Reagan Dreamer?

Once you are legalized you can apply for citizenship. A legal immigrant has to wait until they have been here for five years before you are allowed to apply for citizenship. You also need to he 18 years old.
Those are the rules I had to meet and I came here legally.

 

There have been backlogs in the past so applicants just need to wait it out.
My parents got freed from German Force Labor prisons camps in 1945 by American Army units. It took at least 4 plus years living in a refugee camp getting background checks done, proving that before the Germans captured them that they lived where they said they did. Background checks included verification that that they were neither Nazis or Communists. I got tired of waiting so I snuck in ilegally by swimming across the Atlantic to a port of entry. Not bad for a kid under 3, right?

Not if he has been legalized. It will take him having lied about something on the naturalization application. Such as lying about belonging to the Nazi or Communist party.,

I guess that you are correct in that the new policy does include taking away naturalization status.

The zero tolerance policy. Trump's policy is to deport anyone, and if you support that policy, then I assume Milan will be deported

Its called amnesty and its a big part of the reason they keep coming. Soon we will amnesty the so-called dreamers and that will encourage another ocean of illegals to make the trek.

He is now a citizen and zero tolerance is not about him it's about people caught crossing the border illegally

 

That's where you are wrong, there are a whole lot of Americans that want zero tolerance in all regards to illegal aliens. Stop them at the border, find them in the US and deport them...
