Why is it that everyone that wants socialism

Why is it that everyone that seems to want socialism contributes almost nothing to the government anyway. Methinks it is just the lazy drones that think they are going to get something for nothing. The is reason 386 why socialism just doesnt work.

 

Perhaps it is because our President seems enamored with a very powerful socialist.

 

Socialism is the honey in the poison of Communism, it's bullshit pure and simple, never worked anywhere it has been tried and many times was responsible for genocide. It doesn't work, never has, never will. It's a pipe dream that is most often supported by desperate people who have never worked and are confronted with the reality that they might actually have to work in order to survive. Socialism is the gateway drug of Communism, Communism always fails but not before destroying whole nations.

 

Oh it works until the host dies!

 

Look at the homes of the socialist leaders, and look at the homes of the common citizen. Tell me that socialism works.

 

Why is it that republicans are incapable of distinguishing between wanting social programs and wanting to turn the US into a communist nation?

 

Well, when the communist party endorsed democrats the writing is on the wall.

 

And white nationalists love Trump, is the writing on the wall there as well?

Lots of people like living in a society where we don't have millions of old folks living under freeway overpasses begging at stoplights and dying outside hospital doors.

They want Socialism because of a lot of different possible reasons, such as
a) they have no ambitions in life, aka, little to no goals they want to achieve
b) they are lazy and want handouts
c) they can't be assed to work, and want the government to take care of them
d) they want the rich to basically get taxed to death so they can live good-ish lives at the expense of those who have succeeded in life
e) they've been indoctrinated into thinking everyone should be equal, and that includes ambitions, goals, income and in other areas
f) they believe Capitalism and all the good that comes with being able to follow your dreams as bad
g) a lot of them can't even fathom the idea that someone doesn't want Socialism and would much rather earn their living
h) they don't know the very basics of economics, nor what drive people to follow their dreams

I've got a lot more, but those are some of the main points why people want Socialism.

 

"Socialism" is a socio-economic system. Since you said socialism leads to communism, you must be referring to communism as the socio-economic system too, -not the philosophy/ideology. ("Communism" is taken to be a reference to both or either.)

So your whole post is based on the idea that communism has existed and "always fails". You really think some national classless, stateless socio-economic system has existed somewhere? No classes? No state machinery? No dictatorship? Really? I'd really like to know where.

Your post is an example of the depth of ignorance Americans have on this subject. Communist society has never existed anywhere except for some ancient, tribal primitive societies. Hell, SOCIALISM has never existed either! It was attempted several times with different strategies but not one example of a national economy with workers actually, factually controlling and running industry has ever existed. Workers have never actually been in control of any national economy. Strategies for establishing and running it are still being worked out. So socialism has never existed either.

We can talk about the efforts made and lost, but your post is factually wrong, -entirely.

 

Neo marxist progressives want to have total power over the people so they promise "free stuff" to lure folks in. Typical strategy used on gullible populations. It happened in Cuba, Venezuela, etc....

 

All the Western governments are basically hybrids of social programs and free trade. The US military is basically one of the largest corporations in the world - and it is owned by the government. We have dozens of anti-trust and monopoly busting laws that prevent pure capitalism from running amok. It's misleading to talk about "socialists" countries and "capitalist" countries, other than as a catch phrase for talking heads. We are all hybrids of the systems.

 

And a lot of working people hate supporting able-bodied people.

 

Yeahright, that's what all the worker co-ops are doing. Yup. Uh-huh.

 

But Daniel, I think you know that social programs in a capitalist country don't actually make the economy a hybrid. The programs just "soften" the conditions to allow capitalism to run more smoothly. But it's still capitalism. Workers aren't owning and running anything.

 

Those cases are a minority. And you will always have a few such cases. So making them an issue is just a way of spinning partisan propaganda.

 

Make it no government benefits available at all until age 55 (except what employees pay for, unemployment tax, etc.) and I'll listen.

 

While ignoring the fact that more of their taxes actually go to profitable corporations than human beings.

 

Taxes should be voluntary contributions, with the citizen dictating to government what government can and cannot do with a contribution.

 

I've never seen old people living under freeway overpasses. I've never seen anyone living under freeway overpasses.

90% of our homeless are mentally ill. And since the libs closed our sanitariums (which were "cruel"), we have no place to house the homeless.

 

What do you want to do about people with mental and physical disabilities that make them unemployable?
