It'll be like Black Pride and Asian Pride today; events that everyone's welcome to come to to celebrate White Culture.
You are right. There are some streets that are not safe to walk across. But pedestrian deaths in the USA per hour of activity is still way lower than for sky diving.
But not as much fun! It’s thrilling! I have done most crazy things becuase I love adventure, but I won’t bungee jump
To me skydiving was almost completely safe unless you panic if something does go wrong or do something very stupid. Now ultralight flying is another matter but lord if was far more fun to me then jumping. I use to love chasing hot air balloons around the sky for example or taking a day off work and flying over the turnpike watching everyone else going to work from four thousand feet. Footnote no one I had known personally had ever die from jumping but I had lost count of the number of deaths in ultralight flying over the years.
The jump itself is over in minutes however all the other activity such as chute packing or sitting in the plane waiting for it to reach six thousand feet or so take far longer and as it is as must a part of the sport as falling through the air it should be counted in the death per minute silliness. It should be death per jump not death per minute. Footnote the first dozen times or so I took off in a small plane I did not land with the plane which I found amusing.
I once paid for my father to have a few hours of ultralight flying lessons as a birthday gift and he was like a kid when he would talk about that flying.
The top 3 reasons that people try scuba are: 1 - I have always wanted to try scuba 2 - my spouse does scuba 3 - we're/I'm going to the tropics on vacation.
Rules for staying alive on scuba: 1 - plan your dive and dive your plan 2 - get all the training that you can find 3 - stay shallow (50 ft or less depth) on air, 100 ft or less depth on Nitrox, and trimix for anything deeper than 100 ft. 4 - two of everything 5 - minimize kicking when you are underwater. 6 - get a backplate and wings instead of a BCD 7 - become a good snorkeler and then freediver before you become a scuba diver.
I am a very weak swimmer. My husband is a scuba diver and I only went for lessons because my daughter wanted to learn I ended up really getting into it and I never should have passed the test but I did. In my family the loser gets to be my buddy. I never go more than 40 feet because I am such a weak swimmer
In others words you are a White Supremacist who feels superior to other races like you are a King or a God but the idea of White Privilege annoys you because being White hasn't helped you get ahead in life.
So, you're another who didn't read a word of what I said? Just judged me on that funny meme about being white, and ignored what I said about being a white guy in my native So you think affirmative action like black support groups is needed HERE, REALLY? Because where I'm from only gives people an excuse to mentor the majority and ignore the white kids who are a minority.
I didn't think your meme was funny, just racist. Mine was better, in my opinion. If you look at my past threads you will see that I like posting images to represent topics as well. But mine tend to be more meaningful for my overall point. Yours was distracting so it's really your fault if people overlooked your point. What was it again? That it's hard for a White man to get a good job in majority Black communities where it is pointless to have support groups that promote Affirmative Action? Personally with so many racial issues going on in America today that have a major impact on the daily lives of millions this topic seems extremely unimportant.
Oh grow up buttercup and ignore the meme and come at me with what I typed. Otherwise take it to someone else since you react far quicker than you read me, and I'm not about to let some moron call me a white supremacist when they can't even be bothered to read the things coming out of my mouth relying on ****ing memes.
There was no substance to your argument. If you don't want to be called a White Supremacist don't post stupid pictures like that. I didn't have time to read all 11 pages to understand the words coming out of your "mouth" so if you could just give me a summary of your position again without the childish insults I will address it.
It's a meme, get over it. If people haven't got a sense of humour, if people want to be the latter and be that sulking ashamed to be white white guy, be my guest and leave me alone, but don't assume I'm from a white neighbourhood when I was born and raised in a black one. I'm still white like you, but I have fences to keep me out. That's what 'Being White' is like for me.
OK. It's a racist meme for starters. I don't care how popular it is on the internet. Racism is racism and you will be called out on it. I'm not White so don't make assumptions. In your next post you should attempt to make an argument that has an actual point. You telling me you were White and born and raised in a Black neighborhood doesn't mean anything to me.
it's has 0%/nothing/nadda to do with anything written. At all. Get over it. Again, judge me by the **** I say, not the memes I share in a thread about being white. If you can't see the polarising view depicted in that meme, then you're going to be abusing me if you bark up that tree after I yell 'get down' and 'drop it'.
Look, stop complaining about me accusing you of racism for posting a blatantly racist image. If you want to talk about your experience being White in America and how that is an important racial issue then just do it. All you are doing in your responses to me is whining.
When I was white in America I hated that the issue of race rose its head - there is a problem with race in America, but that's your problem, I'm talking about being white in South London or The South Side of London if London was American but it's not so it's not, it's South London. When you want to forget about America, get your head out my A' about a MEME that has nothing to do with America even. You could either be proud that you're white, enjoy the so-called privilege my skin gets me; or cry about it, when really crying's for Babies. You do you, I'd do me.
Ok so you're from South London. My stance remains the same. You're not saying anything of substance. If you feel superior because of superficial physical characteristics that have nothing to do with your ability or character then that's how you feel. Why should the rest of us care? It's simply not an important issue to discuss.
It's an issue, but not that it's the topic. It's a topic about people being White. I wear sun block in the sun and come from a black neighbourhood. Anybody who calls me a racist is a moron.
