You said you saw nothing about surgical abortion and I showed you that's all. Here it is again. A surgical abortion 6 months ago "I am 23, and found out I was Pregnant 6 months ago. I didn't realise I was pregnant until I started being really sick and felt so tired."
DUHHH, the law against ELECTIVE abortions after 23 weeks is already in place...this was an additional law....a law trying to ban ALL late term abortions and lower the limit from 23 to 20 weeks.... I am sorry that you don't seem to know what "all" means but I can't help you with that...
WHERE IN HER statement does it have the words "surgical abortion 6 months ago"....???? Where? Bold them for me...go ahead.... show how there was a "surgical late term abortion"....go ahead .. WHERE does it say that? HINT: It doesn't. It says she found out she was pregnant 6 months ago....and you for some bizzare reason think that means she had an abortion at 6 months...which is only a week over the limit IF it was true and it isn't....
Guess you can't read, I put it in bold twice now, shall we go for three times? A surgical abortion 6 months ago "I am 23, and found out I was Pregnant 6 months ago. I didn't realise I was pregnant until I started being really sick and felt so tired."
Here it is and what having an abortion 6 months ago has to do with LATE TERM abortion is all in your imagination. """""""""""""""""""""""""""""A surgical abortion 6 months ago I am 23, and found out I was Pregnant 6 months ago. I didn't realise I was pregnant until I started being really sick and felt so tired. I did a pregnancy test on the Monday dinner, and it came back positive. So I phoned my boyfriend at the time, and he came round that night. I was so scared and I didn't know what to do, he was so calm and asked what I wanted to do, I didn't want to answer him, I didn't have a clue what I wanted to do, so I told him I didn't know and I didn't think I wanted to keep it. And he said he thought that was the right thing to do and he would sort it out. So we went to the doctors the next day to find out there was a 6 week waiting list for a termination on the NHS, so he booked privately for the Friday. I told him I wasn't sure I was doing the right thing For them three days I contemplated whether I was doing the right thing, and on numerous occasions I told him I wasn't sure I was doing the right thing, and that I wanted to keep the little baby. And he told me 'don't be daft do you really think you would be able to bring a baby up, do you really want to be one of those single parents?' (He obviously didn't want to stick around). I felt I had no choice, he was right I would struggle alone, and so I went through with the procedure. I had an abortion under a general anaesthetic, and when I woke up, I knew I had made the biggest mistake of my life. I cried my eyes out, it hurt emotionally so much. The nurses were good and calmed me down. He looked after me, and stayed with me that night, but anytime I tried to talk to him about it after, he has said he doesn't understand why I am upset we did the right thing, and it's done now so forget it. I wish it was that simple, I wish I knew how to put it behind me but I don't. https://www.pregnancychoicesdirecto...bortion/1140/a-surgical-abortion-6-months-ago"""""""""""""""""""" SHOW where she had a LATE TERM abortion???????? You cannot since she didn't....
No it isn't. Medical abortions are performed early but a surgical abortion can be performed at any time during the pregnancy although later abortions are often called "terminations of pregnancy" and are nearly always performed for gross foetal abnormality
Moving the goal post I see. Here's what you originally asked. WHERE IN HER statement does it have the words "surgical abortion 6 months ago"....????
I did NOT move any goal posts, I just keep asking very inconvenient questions about your link that you can't answer..... You seemed to think that story was about late term abortion and after me proving that it didn't have a thing to do with late term abortion you are now frantically trying out yet another meaningless point as you did with your asinine "what law?" crap. You move goal posts and topics just to keep from answering those inconvenient questions that show you top be wrong... "" A surgical abortion 6 months ago"" was the TITLE, it was NOT included in HER words....
Ahhh ok I see the game you're playing and I'm learning in this thread that you don't get between a liberal woman and her late term abortion. Late term to me means after first trimester. I'm ok with it up to that point but for God sakes if you want to have one do it early!!!!!
That's fine, I'm talking about standard abortions by women who don't want to deliver for whatever reason. Do it in the first trimester. Anything after that is a grey area so with human life you should error on the side of caution.
Yes indeed error in the direction of the fully human life who would need to risk her life to try to bring another human life to full term we should indeed error on her side an her rights to control her own womb. Once more it is no more moral for the state to force a woman to take those risks against her wishes to keep those processes going then it is for a rapist to had started such processes going by using threats and forces in the first place.
Strawman or woman argument. I've said very clearly I'm talking about run of the mill abortions by women who for whatever reason don't care to deliver
So you think the state should be allow to judge if her desires and reasons to end a pregnancy is suffice to allow her control over her own womb?
Here's YOUR post that does NOT mention in any way partial birth abortion or late term abortion. ...and you can't explain your way out From Josephwalker post: """"A surgical abortion 6 months ago I am 23, and found out I was Pregnant 6 months ago. Abortions aren't run of the mill for the women who have them so again I note your denigration of women....which I think is the crux of the matter... A fetus is NOT viable until 23-24 weeks, and it IS illegal to perform an abortion after that. (Post 550) Before 23 weeks it is NOT viable outside the womb without artificial or extraordinary means. It is simple. Before 23 weeks women may have an abortion for whatever reason they choose WITHOUT YOUR approval....and isn't THAT what you're mad about?
What do you mean anything after 12 weeks is a "gray area" ? What's gray about it? The fetus isn't viable and it's legal to have an abortion... And " with human life you should err (not error) on the side of caution" ?? Whatever does that mean..??? Caution about what?
No I think their should be a standing law. No abortion after three months except for medical reasons.
Why? What is your "reasoning" for putting it at 12 weeks? You must have some kind of reason??? If you believe that then shouldn't you have a reason ..and ANSWERS to questions about it??? Some women don't even know they're pregnant at 12 weeks and ...here's the BIGGIE, at 12 weeks the fetus is NOT viable outside the woman.
So you have no answers, no explanations, nothing to back up your claims so you have to wriggle out with some flamebaiting…. Thank you....
Duh...she is talking about six months ago when she first realized she was pregnant. Do you think anyone could be that stupid to be in her six month and not realize she was pregnant? Hint missing five periods
