    Seems you outta the current loop. It about RUSSIAN HACKING that started before the election and is still on going today. Apparently with Trump\s tacit approval since he's done bugger all to stop it but spends inordinate time claiming its a hoax.

    Yes you are confused. Obama knew they were hacking and chose to let it happen. You'd have to ask him why.

    What can Trump do to stop what happened before he was president? Go to war maybe? Obama dropped the ball on this and Trump can't pick it up. What's done is done.

    If the investigation was halted, how come Trump was shown intelligence identifying Russia as the hacker before he entered the oval office? And having been shown that intelligence, why does he continue to say Russia wasn't involved?

    You have an election later this year and the aim of the Russian interference is not to elect one party or the other. It is to divide America and sow discord so expect them to spread disinformation about any republican candidates.

    As I said earlier Obama knew Russia was hacking and you just confirmed you know he knew to. Question is why didn't Obama do anything about it while it was happening?

    You don't know what Obama did, or didn't do. You don't know what we were capable of doing, or not capable of doing. What you, and I, do know is that the culprit was identified, it was Russia. And what we both know is that Trump denied that in front of the whole world, and in so doing threw his intelligence agencies, and this country, under the bus because it's still going on.

    What is your point? Are you trying to justify Trump's gross negligence and dereliction of duty? He knew of the hacking before the inauguration. And yet he went out there and claimed it was a hoax, it was a democratic conspiracy, it was a "deep state conspiracy" and yet did SFA himself. He only partially implemented the sanctions passed into law by congress AND signed by him. He hasn't rallied the troops or marshalled America's resources to ensure that this blatant vulnerablity is mitigated. Nope he up to this day, ignores the advice of those whose job it is to know and believes his pal Vladdie, or at least it could still have been somebody else.

    The question is WHO IS THE PRESIDENT NOW AND WHY ISN'T HE FULFILLING HIS OATH OF OFFICE?

    We do know Obama told his security team to stand down. We do know Russia continued it's cyber attacks.

    Don't confuse him with facts. Obama did nothing and the IC report of Jan '17, was a deep state attack on trump that just mysteriously appeared out of thin air. :wink:

    Yes the White House cyber security team. NOT THE INTELL COMMUNITIES CYBER TEAMS. IN FACT HE ORDERED A DETAILED INVESTIGATION AND THE DOCUMENTATION OF ALL EVIDENCE TO ENSURE IT DIDN'T DISAPPEAR WHEN TRUMP TOOK OFFICE.

    And interestingly they continued their attacks WHILE TRUMP WAS PRESIDENT AND HE'S DONE BUGGER ALL TO PREVENT IT.


    But let's not mince words, eh? Trump was just letting Obama's mistake fester cause he hates him so much, screw america.

    Obama's national security advisor told one group who was working on the problem to reduce its size. Don't pretend that that's the same as all of our intelligence agencies stopping their work on the problem. Or that other counter cyber teams weren't still up and running at full capacity.
