PJ Media the first out predicting an Electoral Route of the Demos and their Cult following. What say ye. The angry demonstrators at the Supreme Court didn’t know, and didn’t much care, who Trump’s nominee was. They knew they were against him, as they are against everything Trump wants to do. Perhaps they also know they are losing most of the political fights, and are on the verge of following their McGovernite predecessors into the trash bin of American political history. If I had to predict near-term American politics, I’d forecast an anti-leftist electoral rout this fall, with a nasty period of infighting and restructuring of the Democrat Party to follow. To be sure, it’s a very volatile world and lots of unexpected things can take place, but for the moment the Dems look like big-time losers. It seems that the leftist takeovers of the media and the education system are running out of steam. I’ll not be astonished at violence in the streets over the Kavanaugh nomination, but I don’t think it will lead to mass protests of the sort that accompanied the McGovern disaster. Worst of all for the Dems and their “intellectual” fellow-travelers, their distortion of the history of the past couple of centuries has caught up with them, and they are now speaking and writing on behalf of the modern world’s biggest losers. It’s astonishing to see so many Democratic leaders proclaim their enthusiasm for “democratic socialism,” a doctrine that has never produced a successful American political movement, any more than it has produced a durable political/economic system anywhere in the modern world. Predictably, it failed, as most investors in the U.S. stock market will sadly tell you, or as any of the millions of refugees and migrants will testify. If the lefties looked, they could see that their doctrines—largely 19th century doctrines at that—no longer applied to the real world. Relegated to corners of the society, they could only retain power and prestige by attacking their opponents. We call it “the politics of personal destruction,” but it is more than that. It entails the creation of an imaginary world, where their doctrines can be advanced. Orwell provided the best description in “1984”: This stratagem is evident in the many fanciful accusation against Judge Kavanaugh, in the tireless smears of President Trump, and in the insistence of FBI official Peter Strzok that despite the considerable evidence to the contrary, he and his cohorts were not engaged in a political operation to “save the country” from a Trump presidency. If we were serious about Russian meddling in our affairs, we’d look carefully at their manipulation of our schools, universities, media and political class. If you’re looking for Russian meddling… Can’t win an honest debate. Only solution is silence us.....snip~ https://pjmedia.com/michaelledeen/fa...lectoral-rout/
Trump ‘bullish’ on midterm elections, poll shows ‘rising tide’ for GOP..... http://www.politicalforum.com/index...ions-poll-shows-‘rising-tide’-for-gop.535717/ One can see why PJ media is out with their prediction. Now with the Demos, the Lame Stream, and their cult following all becoming unhinged over Trumps meeting with Putin. Calling Trump a traitor and treasonous, it will drive even more away from the Demo Party. Of course the DNC Chair saying Ocasio-Cortez is now the face of the Demo party. The Demos have doomed themselves.
There was a slight uptick for Republicans in Rasmussen's latest generic poll; with Democrats at 46% and Republicans 41%. It was 48 to 40 the previous week. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/mood_of_america/generic_congressional_ballot It's hard to tell yet how much the extremism of the left will translate into turnout. Currently, I think it's about 50/50 as to whether or not the Republicans hold on to a majority in the House.
Given that I want the democratic party to once again represent working and middle class americans, and that in order to have that demands a change to the very core of that party, sure they need to lose, and keep losing until they return to what kept them in power for so long. We need a party to oppose war mongering, to oppose economic globalism that is destroying working americans and the middle class, as it creates the worst disparity in income seen since the gilded age. We already have a party that represents our elites, and we need a party of the People again. Not a two headed one party, as we have when it comes to war mongering and globalism. But I do not want democratic socialists taking over the DP, and any farther left than the party of FDR and JFK was. But this does not mean I do not want medicare for all, nor a sufficient commons to address what globalism will continue to do, put americans into poverty. I don't see a Commons as socialism, given what socialism actually is, with the state owning all means of production of goods and services and distributing that. So I would like to see the DP routed, losing influence, which might drive them out of the beds of wall street bankers, and big globalist corporations, both being parasites upon american markets, while contributing nothing but destruction upon the average american. And economic suffering of our People. Buying our national sovereignty with each so called free trade agreement. And only a strong, People based DP has a chance of stopping it and reversing it, this most destructive trend neoliberalism economics has wrought upon the average americans in this nation. Perhaps a phoenix will arise from the ashes of a failed DP, and we get back a party of the People. In these times of this scheme of economic globalism, unless we get such a party back, it ain't looking good for the home team, the majority of americans. Trump is not the GOP folks, and once he leaves office, it will be business as usual, i.e. zero representation of the common american in DC. So we are in dire need of a genuine opposition party again, the party that defends and represents 300 million plus citizens. But not with socialism as defined by the dictionary. But not with the current form of globalist capitalism either. Make capitalism responsible again and to benefit america as a whole instead of a few families at the very top. Do what is best for the nation and her people, instead of only what benefits the top dogs, and their bought off politicians. It is the right thing to do and the smart thing as well.
Democratic socislism is different from socislism. The scandinavian countries are true Democratic Socialist countries and they seem to function quite well. Some might argue much better thsn rpthe US for the average citizen.
That might work for countries that are the size of a small or medium US state. Its a whole lot easier to trick a smaller group of people.
Newt Gingrich: The red wave is growing | Fox News www.foxnews.com/opinion/2018/06/07/newt-gingrich-red-wave-is... Jun 07, 2018 · Over the past few days, four building blocks have fallen into place that strengthen the case for a red wave of Republican victories in the November midterm elections, wiping out Democratic hopes for a blue wave.
Particularly when it results in more happiness, a higher standard of living and a longer lifespan than in the US. Poor fools just don't know how miserable Democratic Socialism is making their lives.
That higher standard of living goes down once you double up that small population. Once they have to share everything.
We Democrats enjoy seeing threads like this. Americans think Democratic policies are good, and that Republican policies stink. So, if delusional Republicans want to double down on the policies that Americans dislike, it means more Democrats will get elected. We especially like seeing Republicans push crazy things like Strozk conspiracy theories. American really dislike those who attack law enforcement for the purpose of aiding a hostile foreign power. Republican treason results in many more Democratic votes.
Trump appointed an ideologue. No surprise. Democrats would do the same if they got the chance. Babbling drivel. Democrats have an eight-point lead at the moment. https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/congress-generic-ballot-polls/ Straight from the Angry Middle-Aged White Male Rightwing Religious Traditionalist Open Mouth Media Echo Chamber. Who? Independent Bernie Sanders? What's Her Flake who won the New York primary? Who else? Who in the hell are you propagandizing against? The typical Democrat has nothing to do with your punching bag alleged Drmoctat. Trump is rich white trash. Such whining. Egads. P.S. I never in my life voted for a Democrat. P.P.S. I might change my mind if the Bloviator-in-Chief you people inflicted on the country runs again.
If Americans thought Democratic policies were so good, we wouldn't have a Republican House, Senate, and WH.
Actually, the polls didn't change much at all after Helsinki. So clearly they don't care all that much.
So far democrats have been outperforming 2016 in special elections and have been doing really well in deep red districts. This corroborates the polls which show that people prefer democrats by 8%.
We dont know how many illegal and dead voters the democrats will round up in the fall They will have the busses and hearse’s working overtime to deliver the vote for dems
That makes no sense . If you double the population of any country and keep GDP the same the standard of living will decrease. The real reason those countries are more sucessful than the US is that Democratic Socialism results in much lower wealth inequality which results in a much healthier, happier population.
The left in America just keeps repeating this lie over and over. Denmark Tells Bernie Sanders It's Had Enough Of His 'Socialist' Slurs While speaking at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, the center-right Danish Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen said he was aware "that some people in the U.S. associate the Nordic model with some sort of socialism." "Therefore," he said, "I would like to make one thing clear. Denmark is far from a socialist planned economy. Denmark is a market economy." https://www.investors.com/politics/...-bernie-sanders-to-stop-calling-it-socialist/
I lost a hundred dollars betting against Trump -- it seemed like such a sure thing! -- but even without that experience I have never understood why people confidently predict the outcome of future elections in forums like this, where their enemies will crow over them if they're wrong. The only rational reason for it that I can see is if you think you can actually influence the outcome of an election by confidently predicting the victory of your side -- perhaps you think it will discourage the other side and keep some of them from voting.. or spur lazy supporters of your side to jump on the winning bandwagon.
That strategy actually works from time to time. The theory is that lots of undecided don't want to be on the losing side. But, witness the 2016 election. The media was not Hilary's friend. Being told over and over adnauseum that Hilary was ahead brought out Trump voters and I read somewhere that a number of potential Dems stayed home, figuring that they didn't need to bother to vote!
Yes ... that seems to make sense. Probably it's why some countries prohibit taking or publishing the results of voter-intention polls for a certain period before the election.
I think people forget to understand that that most democrats live in large cities. That causes democrat candidates for large city districts to be elected by more votes than necessary to win. I think if the polls looked district by district, the results might be different.
Uh huh.....over performing early on doesn't mean much, and a loss is still a loss. After Texas showed all the hype about the lefts enthusiasm. Its been down hill since for the leftness. Trump and the Repubs have gained more support from Blacks Latinos and Asians. Plus even Nate Silver didn't count on Liberals starting up the # Walkaway movement. Where more Liberals are joining in with the Blue Dogs and telling the Demos to suck wind.
Well it is a given that the Demos and the leftness will cheat. Still, they have more of their kind bailing on them. Seeing the Demos have nothing to better the country off.
Therein lies your problem....the GDP will not remain the same with more population. Oh and the Scandinavian countries are more Socialistic than socialist. Scandinavians are taught from birth that they, as individuals, are in no way special. They are taught to believe they are inferior to society. Scandinavians have a name for this: "the law of Jante," or Janteloven.
