Let's add the context here, or one will have the wrong understanding of treason, as contained in our constitution.

So why would some pervert the definition of treason? Well so they could deceptively and falsely accuse the object of their hatred, trump, for political reasons.

And so anyone who perverts the definition of treason to suit their own agenda is not an intellectually honest person. Obviously, and that is all that should be said about it. These people of course should lose all credibility, given what they will resort to, in their partisanship.
