Gregg Jarrett and Judge Jeanine Pirro reacted to news that top DOJ official Bruce Ohr was used as a "conduit" between the department and ex-MI6 spy Christopher Steele even after the FBI cut ties with Steele over alleged untruths.

Jarrett said Mueller is "looking in all the wrong places" for corruption and crime when he examines President Donald Trump's records.

"Documents show the FBI and DOJ knew the [Steele-Russia] dossier was phony [and that] Christopher Steele was a liar," Jarrett said.

He said that the DOJ using Ohr as such an intermediary between Steele and U.S. officials after they cut ties is "really the definition of corruption."

Jarrett noted that a third prong of the issue at hand was that Ohr's wife, Nellie, worked for opposition research firm Fusion GPS, which helped fund the dossier.

DOJ ordered to preserve James Comey's personal emails.....


The Justice Department will have to preserve some of former FBI Director James Comey's personal emails and make them available to two organizations.

U.S. District Court Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly, sitting in Washington, ordered the department preserve those government documents Monday following revelations in the DOJ inspector general's report in June that Comey used private correspondence to conduct some FBI business.

The Justice Department now has until Sept. 28 to review, release, and preserve any "responsive, non-exempt records" in Comey's private email to Judicial Watch and the Daily Caller News Foundation, under the order.

“The FBI has been playing shell games with Comey’s records and other records, so we’re pleased the court issued this preservation order,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a statement. “This preservation order helps to ensures no Comey records are going to be lost or destroyed. We expect the DOJ to take immediate steps to make sure the records are preserved, as the court ordered.”

According to the Justice Departments IG’s report examining the FBI's investigation of Clinton's use of a private email server, Comey used a Gmail account in “numerous instances,” even though the DOJ issued a policy in 2016 preventing that practice.....snip~

How Bruce Ohr Could Implicate High-Ranking Obama Officials In Spygate.

We don’t know what Yates knew about Ohr’s role. When Yates testified before Congress in May 2017 about the Russia investigation, Ohr’s involvement was still secret, leading the Senate Judiciary Committee to focus instead on her role in instigating the firing of Trump’s former national security advisor, Michael Flynn.

Once again, Ohr and Steele’s exchanges detailed by Solomon provide a hint: The day after Yate’s firing, Steele contacted Ohr, texting “doubtless a sad and crazy day for you re-SY,” a clear reference to Sally Yates. “Just wanted to check you are OK, still in situ and able to help locally as discussed, along with your Bureau colleagues,” Steele added. Then, after Ohr confirmed “I’m still here and able to help as discussed,” Steele stressed that if Ohr was out at DOJ, he needed another “(Bureau?)” contact.

This exchange suggests Yates’ removal concerned Steele and left him worried that without Yates at the helm, Ohr’s continued role as a DOJ liaison for Steele was at risk, and that without Yates or Ohr, he would need to work directly with the FBI.

Was that because Yates approved of Ohr acting as a dossier courier for Steele and the FBI? If so, the Spygate scandal reaches into even higher echelons of the Deep State than previously known.​
