    Cohen just pleaded guilty to 8 counts of charges, including payments to MacDougal and Stormy.... He pleaded he knew that activity was illegal....

    "Prove" a crime? How about prove a crime has been committed? If someone is found murdered then that is a crime....if someone robs a bank then that is a crime. Opening an investigation because you feel like it is not acceptable.

    Cohen in pleading guilty to the two counts of campaign finance violations in the Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougall payoffs which Cohen testified were with the political candidates permission and knowledge.This directly says that Dirty Donald was in on it.

    NEW YORK (AP) — The Latest on a financial fraud probe involving Donald Trump's former personal lawyer Michael Cohen (all times local):

    4:45 p.m.

    Donald Trump's former personal lawyer and "fixer" Michael Cohen, has pleaded guilty to charges including campaign finance fraud stemming from hush money payments to porn actress Stormy Daniels and ex-Playboy model Karen McDougal.

    The 51-year-old Cohen entered the plea in federal court in New York on Tuesday. The other charges involve bank fraud and income tax evasion.

    As part of his plea agreement, Cohen agreed not to challenge any sentence from 46 to 63 months.

    Cohen's plea follows months of scrutiny from federal investigations and a falling out with the president, whom he previously said he'd "take a bullet" for.

    FBI raids in April sought bank records, communications with Trump's campaign and information on payments to Daniels and McDougal.

    Both women claimed Trump had affairs with them, which he denies.

    Former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen pleaded guilty today to eight counts that include tax evasion and campaign finance violations.

    • Counts 1 to 5: Evasion of Assessment of Income Tax Liability
    • Count 6: False Statements to a Bank
    • Count 7: Causing an Unlawful Corporate Contribution
    • Count 8: Excessive Campaign Contribution
    In a plea deal, he said that "in coordination and at the direction of a candidate for federal office" he kept information that would have been harmful to the candidate and the campaign from becoming public.

    A sentencing date is set for December.

    Payments were not a violation of campaign finance laws. This should be an interesting 24 hours. Mueller trying to squeeze Cohen. Glad he was appointed to look into Russian Collusion. :roflol:

    McDougall was paid $150,000 and Stormy Daniels was paid $130,000 and according to Cohen he just swore under oath was with the full knowledge and cooperation of our president.

    The payments were made SPECIFACALLY to avoid it coming up as a major campaign issue just before the election, a direct violation of campaign finance law.Giving payoffs to someone who had direct knowledge of information which would have altered voters choices just before an election,hush money,is a violation of campaign financelaw!
