I was our agencies court liaison Sergeant to our counties District Attorneys office for a number of years. Most ADA's are broken down into areas of specialty and there are ones that only prosecute gun crime. Yes..........they do know they law and are expected to know the law because their ignorance of the law can and will get the city/county sued for a **** ton of money. Firearms without serial numbers aren't new for what it's worth. Matter of fact it only became mandatory for firearms to have serial numbers after GCA 68 was passed. You wouldn't believe how many legit firearms are out there without serial numbers. Funny thing is a lot of the judges I've know in my county are "gun guys" who would eat a ADA alive if they showed up in front of them with ignorance of the law.
I don't disagree. I happen to own a 1959 Marlin Model 99, which has no serial number. Other than that your post is anecdotal at best. And, again, I don't share your confidence.
I think using the word "anecdotal" is a bit of a stretch. While I'm relaying personal accounts these personal accounts stretch over the course of 26 years. I'm not talking about some back water, hick county/LE agency but one of the largest in the entire Midwest. The law is the law on paper and while I'm not disagreeing with you that there are idiot ADA's out there there is a reason the appeal process is built into the system. I'm not saying it's right but the system isn't perfect. After over a quarter century working for the system my confidence isn't what it used to be but it is what it is. Arguing over hypotheticals does seem silly. How often do you think a situation happens when a murder is committed with a firearm without a serial number? Not one that was obliterated but one manufactured without a serial number.
Gun crime is prosecuted with DNA and ballistic evidence. The presence or lack of external engravings is moot point.
Come around to what, exactly? I left my xenophobic, anti-intellectualism, misogynistic, traits behind when I became an adult. Fat chance of me returning to your world view.
To the point where you aren't the pigeon on the chess board. Long row to hoe, I know, but I have patience. So, whenever you can actually address my question, let me know.
My views on some of the cultural aspects of Hawaiian residents is correct. If it is un-PC to do so, so be it.
Most white supremacists claim that their views are correct and based on their observations...... (and they don't care about PC either).
Home made or not, criminals never had any problems getting guns. If Flaco wants to get a gun, Lil Dog will get him one. All this talk about serial numbers only applies to us law abiding citizens.
Get real, of course you can control the downloads of 3D printed guns. You talk like everything a user selects through the internet, isn’t monitored already. It’s a matter of legislation and regulation. We know instantly when a variety of activities are unlawfully selected and down loaded with minimal invasion from certain web sites.

You’re such a neophyte. You think everything you do in the internet is not monitored ? You are naive.
