OK, but I believe if this woman is caught buying a big-screen TV the year after she had an abortion she should be punished.
Like when a baby dies. Like when the other parent isn't happy with the 'choice'. Like when all those grandparents are denied their grandchild. Like when the woman's failure to live responsibly is consolidated with these band-aids, and she goes on to do further damage to others via her irresponsible habits. Just a few .. I'm sure there are many more.
What's wrong with that? The woman refused care for her fetus. (And by care I mean being an incubator for 9 months before the child could be adopted)
Do you believe it's OK for her to put crack cocaine into her body? How about drunk driving on a desolate road with no one else around? How about play Houdini in a female combat octagon and see how many punches she can take to the belly?
I would love to see care denied to the morbidly obese, addicts, and anyone injured via unlawful behaviour. It's the only genuinely compassionate approach, because it preserves limited resources for those who never invited misfortune into their lives. Anything else is downright evil, because it rewards the wrong people, and steals from the right people.
Every dollar a Govt spends on some adult's CHOSEN lung cancer, is a dollar less spent on that 4 year old's leukaemia.
What country does this? You want to deny treatment to a person in a car accident that did not wear a seatbelt? That is unlawful behavior by the way
And in the history of this world which currently has over 7 billion people - how often has the "keep your knees together" idiocy worked And where is your condemnation of the boys/men doing the impregnating I may have missed it but surely there is equal condemnation both sides
How about only verifiably poor women (who don't have middle class parents) are allowed to use the poverty excuse?
You keep moving the goalposts. But not wearing a seatbelt is UNLAWFUL.....so we can let those people die?
I was under the impression that a woman has to agree to it, before it will happen. Hopefully that's also true in your world.
Nope, you did. I was talking about injuries acquired by unlawful behaviour (speeding vehicles, robberies, whatevs). Like I said, your posting style is often inexplicable.
