You have to remember that computers don't reproduce. Expecting evolution to work without reproduction doesn't make any sense. And, even then it doesn't demonstrate your point, as if an organism were as disabled as that it would not be in a position to pass on the change.

Right. If the codings for a codon didn't change then there was an different originator for each of the different genetic codes. Hence no common descent.
