Robert Mueller’s Written Questions for President Trump May Signal the Beginning of the End

Is there something wrong with paying off a woman that is blackmailing a man?

Cohen pled guilty to what precisely?

 

Ask Cohen. He faces jail for it.

$150,000 to the National Inquirer for burying (capture and kill) the Karen McDougal story.

 

There is no evidence McDougal blackmailed anyone. None. No one has even come forward to accuse her of any kind of blackmail. And the payment was to the National Inquirer to reimburse them for capturing and killing the story. McDougal thought she ws getting paid for the story to be published.

 

The far right are virtue signaling that Mueller has little left: they know better.

 

Ooooo - so much to unpack there...

Normally, I would say 'no' - nothing wrong with giving in to blackmailers. No law broken there. But, I think there is A LOT wrong when he lied to reporters and the American people when he said he knew nothing about it when asked. Then the question becomes - where did the money come from and was it paid to silence an individual for election/campaign purposes. Cohen has already been convicted for the payment - the it broke campaign finance laws. So - with this tape, it has been proven that Trump approved the payment. Lots wrong with that!

 

Here is another tidbit, all these written questions are not mandatory and do not have to be addressed at all!

As to a story, once she sold it to the NI, they were free to sell it, publish it or kill it. Clearly her intent was to cause harm to others. And profit from her own acts.

 

Which is why I'm predicting that not all will be answered. They'll answer a handful to pretend they played ball and try to force Mueller's hand on whether or not he'll subpoena.

 

I don't think Daniels was the one being discussed. I'm pretty sure this one was McDougal. NI misrepresented their intent and it looks like they coordinated with Trump and Cohen to do so. Hell, they may have even worked with her lawyer to do so, which can land them all in hot water. Hell, it obviously has already landed Cohen in hot water.

 

I question it broke campaign laws but it is what it is. But should a person profit when her act amounts to a crime? Trump paid her nothing so how could he approve? It was not his cash to approve about.

I see posters using a totally different standard of justice when it comes to Trump than they used for Hillary or Obama. To me what Eric Holder was far worse yet we do not find him wearing convict clothing.

 

People seem to totally ignore the tax problems Cohen had. Underreported income.

 

If Mueller had anything, he would not need to ask Trump questions. He would have his own evidence.

 

What about her actions was a crime? Not a single thing. And you forget that Trump's story now is that he DID pay.

And you suppose she told the truth because such women are completely honest?

 

He paid a lawyer. Have you ever paid a lawyer and told him how to spend the money?

 

Which is of course completely untrue. Prosecutors will always question in an obstruction case.

 

I believe that put him behind bars. Not the tale by the woman.

 

I'm pretty sure she was telling the truth because Trump and Cohen were willing to come up with a plot to keep her silent.

 

I see, so they try to create obstruction. I figured that much.
