Was not always so. There is White North America, White Australia and White South Africa. They were all white immigrants to non white countries. My Dad is white and from Europe and he moved here to Indonesia, a brown majority country. He even became a citizen of this country.
I don't know who she is, or why her opinion is important at all because she doesn't look like any public figure I know. Is she just some random person on twitter who made a dumb comment? And what exactly was her comment? Its difficult to read from your image.
Not really. When one looks to the innovators, the individuals who came up with the ideas, that has allowed us to develop technologically, and thus greatly improve the human condition, were almost exclusively free-thinkers. Christians are more likely to be followers. To be perfectly clear, it is not White Christians that are under attack. It is specifically conservative Christians, and especially Evangelicals that are under attack. The northwest part of the country is ruled by White non-religious liberals, the southeast part of the country is ruled by White Christian conservatives. We all know which end of the country is much better off. Conservative Christians had their chance, and all they gave us was a corrupt, ignorant side show clown for president. But then, president Gillibrand will begin to fix the damage done in 2021. I can hardly wait.
I wasn't. Sure, a few people might be racist against whites, but a few are racist against blacks as well. Racists are a small minority.
Excellent rebuttal. I will revise my statement from nobody hating whites, to a small minority of people racist against whites, just like a small minority racist against blacks.
The exact quote is, "That government is best which governs least;....." It comes not from Thomas Jefferson, but from Henry David Thoreau, in his essay Civil Disobedience. Thoreau clearly states that he does not oppose government, but bad government. He goes on to complain about how the few can corrupt the government, into doing things, the majority would not agree to, if left to their own opinions. He complained of The War on Mexico, the institution of slavery, and practice of taxing individuals to pay for religious institutions. He condemned the constitution, for being a problem for allowing slavery. It wasn't that he wanted no government, but better government. A government that responds to the needs of the people, and not to the needs of the corrupt few.
Being accused of rape doesn't make one a rapist. Innocent until proven guilty. And despite his criminal activity, Clinton is left-wing. Waiting on that Bill Clinton quote you are going to provide. http://www.ontheissues.org/Bill_Clinton.htm
Do you have a source for any of this? I don't even know who she is. Is she even an elected official or involved in politics?
I provided a link which clearly laid out his positions. When someone is pro-taxes, pro-government healthcare, pro-regulation, pro-abortion, anti-inequality, pro-welfare, then he is still liberal. I am still waiting on someone to provide that quote. http://www.ontheissues.org/Bill_Clinton.htm
To revise my position Kauvenaugh is a possible sexual assaulter, not rapist. He also has a lot more witnesses than Clinton. Clinton is a possible rapist but he only has one accuser, which doesn't make him automatically guilty, but if he was a Supreme Court justice, I'd like claims against him thoroughly investigated by the FBI for a few months.
Funny thing is we still have welfare, still have taxes, still have govt. healthcare as far as abortion why bitch about it when our nation kills humans of all ages through military operations..anti-inequality damn that Constitution! And we have had that since the Great Depression to the present during every single GOP led liberal govt...Even Trump is liberal...Taxes get used to it since income taxes are still alive and well, even under Trump..
It depends on how you define liberal. If you define liberal as a non-libertarian position, then most everyone is liberal. Today, we define liberal by wanting an increase of liberal ideas and programs and defending their existence.
Well, instead I can just refer to what a democrat is and what is democratic position is instead, if we can't agree on what a liberal is. If we couldn't ever change out definitions, we'd still be speaking old English. Words evolve.
Liberalism is not a party it is a political philosophy. Some Democrats are liberals some are not just like some Republicans are liberals and some are not..Liberalism believes in the rights of the citizen to be protected by the govt.
