it's hardly democratic, actually far from it, every ballot should have a choice of all parties, period
Pete served as more than our Governor. Pete had came up the good way. He had been a mayor. And he served our population as the president of the California Association of Realtors. Due to our low key operations, the public does not get to know us and what we do for them. At least when i was a director I was working for the public. Pete was highly respected by millions of citizens by the time they got to know the man well.
Republicans look petty/ insincere when they drop to the level of Trump who claimed "millions" of illegal voters in California in 2016. Several years ago California voters approved an open primary system that top two candidates getting the highest number of primary votes face off in the general election. Both Republicans and Democrats hailed the new approach back in 2010. Now some Republicans complain that it means Democrat versus Democrat as it did in a few statewide races recently. Republicans need to focus on earning votes rather than finding excuses. "California Republicans see what happens when more voters vote, and they don't like it one bit" https://www.latimes.com/business/hiltzik/la-fi-hiltzik-voters-cal-20181130-story.html
Watch North Carolina where there is a legitimate, official, bipartisan investigation into voter fraud.
Quite simply Republicans can not compete in California. Cry babies! Actually it is worse across the West Coast w/ Oregon, Washington and Hawaii almost totally Democratic and Nevada and Arizona trending Blue
I'm sorry but Republicans come across as weak/ impotent people quick to get hysterical and ripe for any lamebrain conspiracy excuse. What kind of Americans are they? And Trump is a dangerously transparent/ insecure psycho; a huge embarrassment and major disgrace for America. This chapter of Trump/ Republicans will come to an abrupt end either by impeachment or a rout of everything GOP in 2020. California is just a taste of the future.
You mention North Carolina, as if there was fraud in the whole State, and then offer there is a possible issue in one District? That's one out of 13.
I cited the evidence for an official bipartisan investigation being conducted into voter fraud in North Carolina. Whenever such an inquiry is merited, it addresses the particular case and not "the whole state."
Cool... But if California WANTS to secede, and as YOU stated, they have every right to...I will be the first one waiving them goodbye.
If California were ever to adopt the intent to secede that had been officially expressed by Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee, Missouri, and Georgia, you claim it has such a right and that you would support it. Noted.
Ca. is beginning to kinda look like the banana republics south of our border. In more ways than just this deal. If you want to see what modern progressive rule looks like, look no farther than Ca. Now imagine america as Ca. Not like this is how the democrats used to operate. Today, they are extremists.
As a point of clarification, do you actually have support for your claim that other states have declared ballot harvesting is illegal? This case is a judge ruling that a prohibition on the practice is legal. That is not the same.
You'll have to educate me on the practice in California, but I have to assume that they have safeguards in place to address chain of custody, right? Something like requiring the ballot to be placed in a sealed envelope, right? Also, the practice of ballot gathering is legal in other states, right? The North Carolina GOP is currently dealing with a problem in NC-9 because the person who was collecting ballots was doing it improperly and only for the GOP. Finally, the practice of ballot harvesting - are you claiming that these votes are illegal or improper?
Of course California with 1/2 of the nations welfare recipients would be #39. They tax everything in California including cow farts. New Mexico has a whole lot of Hispanics and injuns too. Kentucky, Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina and Louisiana have a whole lot of Democrats of color who have the government monkey on their backs who need free stuff.
In California Republicans voted with their feet...they got the **** out of California. Over 10 million native born Americans mostly Republicans, upper middle class who paid a whole crap load of taxes left the state. There was no decrease in the state population, they were replaced by immigrants, legal and ILLEGAL who don't pay their fair share in taxes.
Not going to look up every state but Texa and Arizona it's a felony and I only see California having a law that allows the ballot chain of custody being allowed to be broken. That's the issue with ballot harvesting, it breaks the ballot chain custody between the voter until the ballot is delivered to the precinct polling place or the county registrar of voters office. Don't you have a problem with unidentified individuals dropping off from 100 to 200 ballots ? That's what the County of Registrar of Orange County watched happening on election day. Hundreds of people dropping off up to 200 ballots. Under the same law tens of thousands of people who were not registered to vote were allowed to register to vote and cast a ballot after the polls had already closed at 8 PM. Buses and vans dropping off thousands of people at county offices after 8 PM on election day was a dead give away.
I seriously doubt a deputy sheriff escorted the ballot harvester carry hundreds of ballots to the polling precinct or county of registrar office. Were all of the ballots that were harvested actually delivered to the registrar of voters to be counted ???
How was a California surfer representing "Surf City" defeated by a liberal hodad who don't surf ? Ballot Harvesting.
Would You Give Your Ballot to a Stranger? https://www.pewtrusts.org/en/resear...0/11/would-you-give-your-ballot-to-a-stranger
Okay... you keep mentioning states that don't intend on seceding. California actually has petitions to secede and has a "legit" reason for so. You keep deflecting from California and are mentioning states that are hundreds of years from their cause. Oh wait, I see what you're doing
Wrong. Take a good long look at the 9th Congressional district in NC. Republican ballot harvesting so bad there, they're considering a whole new election.
If there was ballot harvesting that took place then the election was compromised and has no credibility and those who were harvesting ballots should be prosecuted, stripped of citizenship and sent to prison for 20 years.
