After all of that what was the motive?

You claim she deliberately killed him

But if you think so tell us why?

It will send the wrong message if this police woman gets off scot free. If she does, you can rest assured somebody else will try the same thing.

It is very apt. You see what you expect to see.....out of sheere habit and bias.......three green lights indicating wheels up, when in fact it is three red lights, wheels still down. It has actually happened. Plane lands on water with wheels down....Family wiped out, pilot lived. I was directly involved in the Inquest.

Most cops who don't work overtime, work side security jobs for extra pay anyway. I work up to 80 hours/week on high voltage equipment. If I don't feel safe, I don't work. My boss will support my decision, even if my company has to get somebody to site to replace me at great expense. Anything greater than 12 hours in a day and I reserve the right to call in tired, even though I have worked 36 hours straight including travel and slept in the plane to and from the job. Cops should have the same attitude and know when they are compromised by fatigue.

You are very wise. It is never safe to work when you are tired. The money is not worth it.

Does everyone have the same awareness of how his body operates?
Could someone feel pressured to work on, because everyone else does and he'd look like a wuss for saying he's tired?

Who knows, doesn’t really matter. She could very well be telling the truth, but the question remeans was her mistake reasonable?

I'm not sure her attorneys have that choice, as it would be up to the prosecution. They would be foolish not to, for based on the facts currently known to me (and I'm fully aware that I don't know everything there is to know), as a juror, if the only choice I had was a murder charge, I would find not guilty.

Actually her attorneys can ask for her instruction if evidence that supports a finding

No one has questioned that but superbad, so why don't you tell him?

Maybe she hates blacks? Maybe she is a psycho? Maybe she had a bad day and wanted to blow off steam? Motive isn’t really necessary to prove she intentionally killed him

I don't know, but they won't take care of my family if I get electrocuted. There is also the risk that I can knock the equipment down and cost the customer millions. My boss will yield to my judgement if I think I'm too tired to work. He would have no sympathy if I show up for work tired or incapacitated. I would only bow out after 12 hours and more likely 18 hours. It would depend on how I feel and what I am doing at work.

Her situation was clearly one of reasonable fear. Sorry, if they try to stick her with murder she will walk........manslaughter is also iffy, but if it's available to the jury they could possibly go for it. Depends on the make up of the jury.

Again, see definition of imperfect self defense, a concept texas recognizes. That takes intentional murder to manslaughter instead of all the way to justified. It literally cannot be justified in this instance.

Nothing imperfect about her self-defense. It was perfect.

So hang her with a silk rope instead of a hemp rope. She is a killer.

Maybe someone will break into her apartment and blast her and then use her excuse. I am sure that all of her defenders will also defend the other guy.

I don't know what her purpose was, I know an innocent man is dead because of her actions.

No it hasn't been dropped, the prosecutors can move ahead with the trial, and the jury will decide between the manslaughter or murder if they find the defendant guilty. Manslaughter is still on the table but the prosecution is going for murder.

Which would be self-defense and a lawful shooting, but due to her gross negligence she killed and innocent person, manslaughter.
